Whitney II Short Lace Boot
When the snow starts to fly and the temperatures dip, the Whitney II Boot will keep your young adventurer warm during their time outside. With 200g insulation throughout the boot and faux fur lining, the Whitney II is as warm as it is comfortable. Tried it on and it was kind of snug even with regular socks on. I do not have wide feet and I could see the sides of my feet sticking out from the boot when it was on and would've affected the comfort. I bought the Quarry/Ultra Pink and loved the color! Very cute and the height of the boot was exactly what I wanted for lighter snow days. If the size wasn't off, I would've loved this boot!

I bought these boots trusting the brand. Winter is over and will be for next season. The description states that the liner comes out. The liner does not come out. It doesn't even feel as if they have a significant liner. The foot insole does come out. The foot insole is bulky and far thicker under the heal than the toes. Keeping my fingers crossed for next winter.

Kid tested, parent approved
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- True to size
Bought these boots for my daughter (she's 10) as style/sophistication upgrade from the Sorel Joan Of Arctic Boot (those were great for knee-deep powder and slush all Swiss winter). They fit true-to-size, meaning you don't need to size up for the bulky winter socks, that space is already built-in (a size 5 Nike tennis shoe is a size 5 in this boot with room for the thicker [Smartwool] socks).
