Very stiff out of the box and runs small.
I wear an 8 in dress shoes, 8.5 in running shoes. I have 2 pairs of older Joan of Arctic wedge boots in size 8. I have Joanie (?) sandals in 8.5. I ordered these Uptown booties in 8.5 and they seemed small and tight across the front of my foot. They were also very stiff leather. I love my other Sorel's. Wish the sizing could be more reliable.

Comfortable, Cute, and Quality
I have wide feet. It’s made shopping for wedges from certain brands impossible. I’ve always dreamed of having a pair of booties. A friend recommended Sorel, and I’m blown away! Size 12 fits me perfectly. The toe gives me enough room to breath, yet they feel snug and secure around the ankle. Other brands would squish my toes without mercy! I didn’t even get the best price I could have, and I’m still beaming with satisfaction.

I wanted to love
They are so cute on but arrived scratched. I ordered the Khaki color and they literally scratch on everything. I’ll sadly be returning them.

Makes me taller and comfy!
I have at least fifteen pairs of Sorel boots and this is one of my favs! I’m on my feet all day long and have found these to be quite comfortable.

Great boot! Love the zip side!!!!
Ok, so I’d been eyeing these for months and just pulled the trigger on the khaki pair to wear as spring comes with white jeans (Houston weather is just not cold generally)- here’s my 2cents on sizing. I’m a 7.....in most all shoes or boots- I’m a 7.5 in the sorel caribou sneaker (short toe box)- and I’m a 7 in the sorel Chelsea’s. But in the uptown Joan I’m a 7.5 and here’s why! The toe box is super short- maybe because of the incline and taller wedge. If I wanted to wear a sock of any kind I needed the 7.5. Still fits good in the ankle snd the heel so that’s great! The zip side is awesome!!!!! Easy to get on snd off! Buy these quality shoes....you just can’t beat Sorel!
