Zipper breaks
This is the second time I’ve tried to buy these boots. I love them so much but the zipper keeps breaking. The first pair I had for about 2 months and then the zipper broke. I tried to fix it, but eventually had to send them back. Then I ordered another pair and they showed up with the zipper broken on both boots. I’m so bummed and annoyed that I have to go through the return process again.

Quality
One of the zippers was very difficult to zip and unzip right out of the box. Wore one time and zipper broke and separated. Contacted site if I wanted them replace had to pay to return under warranty to possibly repair. Being I had just received them I think they should have just replaced them. I do like the look and comfort of the boot.

Just what I wanted!
These boots are exactly what I was looking for to replace my favs that are no longer made. Can west them to a casual restaurant or for winter dog walks. They truly are waterproof. I’m super happy with them!

Great casual boot
I typically wear a 7.5, sized up to an 8. These for well, are comfortable and I’d definitely buy again.

Very comfy!
I bought 2 pair of these (tan and black) about 18 months ago. The black ones have gotten more use, but I love both. I bought them a half size larger than usual because I intended to wear wool socks with the booties. They are extremely comfortable with wool socks. The negatives: I find the zippers being on the outside to make it more difficult to close than if they were on the inside. I've also discovered that the soles of these booties aren't particularly durable. I expect I'll need to replace them when I've had the booties for 2 years.

Great boots but screw in heel area causing discomfort
I bought these for my daughter about a month ago. They are great boots, and they are wearing well. However, the heel padding is already giving way to the screw that is securing the heel to the shoe. It's bothersome, especially after only a month of light use. We have purchased a padded insert, but now the boots fit more tightly. We plan to take the boots to shoe repair store to see if we can do anything further. We love Sorel, but this flaw is disappointing.

Great Boot, Just Slightly Odd Fit
I really love the versatility of this boot! My job requires me to spend a lot of time in the office but I still go out to the field about once a week. Most of that time outside is spent walking around and standing in open fields or around construction sites to talk to people. This boot allows me to look professional in the office while still being confident to walk around outside as I need to. I haven't tested the waterproofing yet but I am not worried about it not working since everything else is such excellent quality. My only complaint, and this might just be common to Chelsea boots, is that they run both slightly too large and too small for my feet. I have a slim ankle but roughly normal width foot; an 8 or 8.5 will usually fit me just right. For these boots, I tried an 8 and a 7.5. The 8 is too large around my ankle but just right for my feet (with room for thicker socks on cold days). The 7.5 fit more comfortably around my ankle but squeezed the life out of my foot, specifically the top of my foot where the shaft of the bootie meets the rest of the boot. Obviously, I stuck with the 8 and I'm very happy with it once I got used to the large ankle gap. I think these boots are going to last me a long time and they are incredibly comfortable too. I would recommend these, but just keep in mind that it might take an adjustment period if you have slim ankles like me. Might be nice if they offered different shaft circumferences for those of us with slim ankles but normal-sized feet.

Poor construction
I got these last week after months of looking for black Chelsea boots that were waterproof and supportive. At first I thought I scored big time, they were very comfy, but after a few days wear (<8mi walking): the insole started to separate from the heel, the tops wrinkled very fast, started to get bit loose, and worst of all, the heel construction consists of a nail or something metal and sharp that rubs my heel. So, I will be contacting Sorel for a return because they are clearly not constructed well.

Highly Recommend!
I bought these for a recent trip to London and they didn’t disappointment. These boots were really comfortable to walk in, even for multiple days in a row. Despite rainy days, my feet were dry and warm. Looking forward to see how they hold out in the New England winters. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.
