More cush for the summit push.

Not only is the Performance Thick Ed Viesturs Signature Footbed one of Sole's cushiest insoles; it's also the only one geared towards mountaineering, but that doesn't mean it only fits big, burly boots. Sole styled it to fit virtually any shoe out there, so you can feel the heavy cush required for summiting peaks when you're simply walking up the stairs. Made mostly out of cork, this footbed tailors its support and cush to your foot's specifications for customized comfort. The top sheet wicks moisture, dries quickly, and reduces odor for performance-oriented comfort.
    • Cushioned footbed fits in running, hiking, and mountaineer footwear
    • Cork customizes the arch support to your foot's specifications
    • Moisture-wicking top sheet treated with Polygiene odor control

I ski a lot and i'm always looking for ways to reduce the shock that comes through my boots. I had a foot injury and thought it might be related to my cheap insoles that came with my boots. I bought these for my ski boots and they fit perfectly into my Delbello's, and they are 2-3 times thicker then the stock insoles that came with the boots which are basically just felt with a backer. These insoles are aggressively shaped with an arch and a heel cup unlike any other. These don't really have a drop in them like the superfeet heat insoles which i also have and i don't like because they have a drop like a running shoe that i don't like in my ski boots. I tend to like a more natural stance.

As far as sizing goes i bought a size 7 even though i wear a size 7.5 but they are actually larger then my Delbello insoles. So they are kind of a little larger then stated but each brand has their own sizing. I would recommend these for some extra cushion, if you don't want the cork you can get the extra thick Sole insoles. I will update this review when i get more time on this product.
