Not as thick/plush as I expected

    • Fit: True to size

Got these wool socks on sale and was curious how they would compare to my current standby wool socks, hike/trek merino socks from Darn Tough. These are a lot thinner, not as plush feeling, and they carry only a one-year guarantee. The Darn Tough socks are heavier weight, mostly merino wool, more comfortable to my feet and come with a life-time guarantee. Think I'll stick with the longer lasting Darn Tough socks.

Love the color and patterns on the Sockguy Tribe sock, however.

    Wearing these right now, ha!

Love SockGuy, USA made, fun patterns, great fit, solid build.

Standard crew height, so lower than the bottom of the calf. They're thin, not a winter sock, but I'd wear them on some winter days. I've worn them to work, run, backpacked, and biked in them. Greatness.
