Life Saving for icy/snowing hikes

Purchased a pair for Angels Landing recent winter hike at Zion’s National Park - after reading reviews that crampons were a ‘must’ for icy/snowy conditions. All I can say, other than ease of use and comfort, is that I’m still alive to review how these were the single deciding factor of survival on this awe inspiring but very dangerous uphill hike.

Amazing for hiking, walking or running

Needed a good pair of crampons for running, and hiking. These are perfect. When running, you don't feel the spikes other than you have great traction in snow and ice. Same with hiking and walking. Even if you find the occasional slippery rock, your traction is still great. Make sure to size down as you want them tight when putting them on. Otherwise, they will slip off your shoe/boot. Also, they're better than the chain type of crampons because you have more grip action
