Useful Item

I've been dehydrating backpacking meals for more than 30 years. Whatever I can make in the kitchen I can prepare for backpacking. I used a polypropylene spoon for many years to scoop stew, chili, soup, etc., into bowls or poured food directly from the pot. No more. This ladle rocks. Its usefulness and weight make it a no-brainer for a 1 to 10 day trip when ladling food is necessary. Yeah, it is a luxury item.
