Like fish in a... bucket?
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Excellent robust design for any of your bucket needs. Two gallons is too little and 4 gallons is too much. Perfect size for running water up from the river to clean dishes on a water trip or on a camping trip. Remember to always check your local LNT rules to ensure that your lack of cleanliness isn't someone else's issue in the future!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
This is an outstanding bucket. Picked one up for a 12 week camping trip and after the first week ordered a second. So glad I did. Used it for trips to the shower, to haul water back to camp, to carry dirty closthes to the laundromat and clean ones back. Used it to carry food and snacks to an outdoor concert.
This bucket does it all and when it's not in use they collapse down so they don't take up a ton of room. The 6 gallon bucket is the perfect size.
If only they had more colors.
Everyone needs a bucket.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
And for those of us who don't understand why *anyone* would, say, remodel a bathroom or buy a Lexus, this one is cheap. Way cheap, and stylin to boot. Why get a dull bucket? My favorite use so far: cooler. Stop by the store on the drive out. Toss in a bag of ice; toss some food and maybe a few beers or une bouteille du vin on top; and your road dinner just got made. No leak no fuss no muss. Two of them is a dish washing system par ex. Great caddy for the stuff you want to keep right next to your cot at night. And Snow Peak cachet to boot.
Will this stand upright w/ water in it to wash dishes in?
If you want to use it as a dish bucket it should be self standing and stable. It wont be as sturdy as a regular bucket but I haven't heard of it collapsing on itself when in use from anyone. If you do a google image search for
