Shred the park on your own terms.

A perennial favorite among park riders who don't float the mainstream, the Smokin Buck Ferton CTX Snowboard was built for freestyle junkies who might be locking into technical presses on rails one run and spinning off huge booters the next. It offers versatile performance so you can dominate every type of feature, and it's not afraid to search for side hits and slash powder when the occasion calls for it.

The CTX profile features rocker between the bindings for a loose feel when you're jibbing and float in powder, camber underfoot for pop and stability on jumps, and raised contact points for a forgiving, catch-free ride. Mellow Magne-Traction creates multiple contact points along the edges to give you serious edge hold in the iciest conditions. Thee Stage Dampening adds an extra shock-absorbing layer to the board for a smooth, damp ride.

Inside this fun freestyle ride, you'll find a durable aspen core for a smooth, consistent flex underfoot. Instead of using carbon to reinforce the board's nose and tail, Smokin uses environmentally friendly PoP Gnarley hemp fibers for spring-loaded pop and added dampening. Variable Density Fiberglass also beefs up the board's durability, making the Buck Ferton stronger than boards with traditional fiberglass layups. Rounding it out is a fast and durable sintered 6000 base for long-lasting speed.

    • Versatile park deck for riders who don't like labels
    • Rocker, camber combo is poppy yet forgiving
    • Medium flex kills it anywhere in the park
    • Variable Density fiberglass balances flex and strength
    • PoP Gnarley hemp fibers enhance energy transfer
    • Poplar core comes from sustainably harvested trees
    • Mellow Magne-Traction increase grip on icy conditions
    • Smokin boards are handmade in Tahoe by actual snowboarders

    SUCK FMOKIN!!!!!!

If you like quality and great customer service, DO NOT BUY A SMOKIN SNOWBOARD!!! I have emailed, called and even Facebook messaged these guys about a faulty board they sold me since Christmas. Have not heard a peep from them! BUYERS BEWARE!!!! NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!Didnt even know that was possible in 2017. Smdh

(Again my beef is with SMOKIN not backcountry) just finding anyway to put these jokers on blast!

I have ridden the Buck for 2 years now and this is by far the best model yet. I got it in the 158 which was a size up from my usual 55 and loved it. The CTX rocker makes this board playful and it rides powder surprisingly well for a "park board". Camber on the outside makes it stable while keeping pop. Best of all is the quality of Smokin Boards. The Buck I currently own is 2 years old and I'm still riding it. This is the my board of choice and I ride it everyday so if you have questions please ask!

      Hey Mark!
I've currently been struggling trying to decide between getting the buck ferton or the never summer funslinger. I am a primarily park rider, probably 65% rails and boxes, 35% jumps. However I am moving to Colorado soon from the Midwest and anticipate myself wanting to shred the whole mountain once in awhile. I was hoping you could give me some personal insight on how the Buck Ferton is on Rails, Jumps, Groomers, Powder, etc. As well as any information on the Funslinger if you have any experience with that board.

Yo Brendan! Can't say that I have ridden that NS board but they are similar for sure. Personally I think the Smokin is a rail board that just happens to crush it on the entire mountain! Plus mellow magne-traction means you can dull the heck out of the edges but still turn! Good luck in Colorado!

Hi! very interested in this board in the 155W. Smokins website says the buck 155W has a waist width of 26.3. Then they have the 158W listed as 26.2? Maybe its a typo? I wear a size 13 thirtytwo boot and wondering if the waist width on the 155W would work? I haven't snowboarded since the late 90s so my feet grew over the years. I tried to contact smokin through phone, email and FB messsenger with no response. Also folks been telling me to look out for the side cut also. Don't want to order the board and have it not fit. Any help would be great! Thanks!
