Get Wild!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

So far I have used the Wildcats for a bevy of rides, both on XC trails and for resort laps. The dark lens is great for riding in and out of shady groves of trees on sunny days, and the clear lens is awesome in lower light evening and morning rides. Despite a few falls, the glasses have remained firmly on my face, which is surprising, given how light they feel while wearing them. I recommend these for high action rides, backcountry skiing, and wearing around town for a sporty look. The only reason I took off a star was due to the fact that it is difficult to swap out the lenses without leaving a fingerprint or two on them if you don't have the included cleaning cloth on hand to use to hold the lens in place while you pull the frame off of it. Thought this system could be done better. The package included a nice large zipper case as well to protect the glasses as well as the spare lens. While the case is not super portable due to its 4"x3" size (approx). It provides good protection when packing them in a day pack on in a suitcase if you have the room.

The Most Coverage

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
True to size

Big on coverage, love the inclusion of a clear lens and really like the adjustable nose piece. You can make the nose piece narrower so they sit further from your face and circulate air better, or make it wider so they sit closer. I have a Medium head and they fit fine, honestly compared to some other glasses they felt a little loose or wide, but the grippy material keeps them planted as a result of the slightly looser fit, I like running the nose piece in the wide position so they sit closer to my face. Absolutely fantastic job of keeping the wind out of my eyes, Lens swaps aren't too much trouble but I am not going to make it a daily thing, if I wanted sunglasses with super fast and easy lens swaps, I would have gone with one of the MAG options. Chromapop is super cool and it genuinely makes colors more intense. A+ I would buy these again.

Love these!

Familiarity:

I was a little worried that these would be too large for my face, but they fit great and look awesome! I was having some fogging issues with my last pair of sunglasses since I live in a really humid area. These didn't fog up at all! I was seriously impressed by the lenses - the Chromapop did really well in dappled sunlight, and I easily switched out to the clear lens when the clouds rolled in on my ride. I highly recommend these!

Had high hopes

Runs small

I wanted to love these shades but they just weren’t wide enough. Unfortunately, If you have a big dome like me then these are not the glasses you’re looking for.

Best sunnies I've ever had

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I wear contacts and if any wind gets behind the glasses they will dry out and I have to constantly blink to keep them moist. I don't have to worry about anything with these. I have used them skiing, road/mtn biking and running. Not only do I not have any unpleasantness/drying out with my contacts but they also never fog. Did a fair amount of backcountry skiing in them and never had them fog on the way up. Only gripe is I wish they came with the standard low light lense that most other Smith sunnies do instead of just clear.

Cheaply made

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Fit:
True to size

Quite a disappointment as Smith cycling helmets are a quality product. Sunglass frames felt cheap and were squeaky. Silly pink arms look worse once they are in your hands. Returned

Great for snow too!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Bought these to replace goggles most days while working on the mountain. They fit well under a helmet and provide good coverage on all but the deepest/stormiest days. For 6am morning starts, the clear lens is great for setting up the mountain and skiing before sunrise. You have to be skiing really, really fast for the wind to be an issue. They do not fog up like goggles when I'm sweating and hiking. Unless the snow is overhead, or temps are below 20 degrees I wear them almost every day. Wish they had a polarized lens for fishing in summer.

So Dope

Great design with a nice fit and durable material. Great lenses with a nice wider design that some people need. Love them so far!

I'm excited about these

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are the first glasses that have slightly eroded my Oakley-loyalty. The lens quality is excellent, the fit is sublime, and Smith finally got the message that the large-faced among us need a proportionate set of shades. I've always been impressed with Smith from a performance and value standpoint, but their aesthetic was a little.... over-understated? The Wildcats have turned that around for me. As an additional shot across the bow at Oakley, Smith also throws in a secondary lens. More updates will follow!
