Massive peripheral vision, no fogginess, and a clean, simple style.

Behind the semi-rimless frame and the oversized lens, the Vice Goggles hide a gluttonous amount of technology. A massive, spherical lens provides maximum peripheral vision, Vaporator lens technology fends off fogginess and moisture, articulating outriggers ensure a perfect fit, and soft face foam and a wide back strap help these goggles sit comfortably over your hat or helmet. Smith made the Vice goggles to look minimalist at first glance and feel luxurious and dialed with every glance.

    Hell yeah!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these! They fit perfectly, comfortable, don't fog at all. I got the green/blue/purple lens and it is by far the best lens I've ever used. Goggles in general are the best I've used; I've been boarding for about 13 years now and been this is my 5th pair of goggles. I love the visibility these offer! By far my favorite aspect.

    great gogs!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These goggles have been awesome. I just switched to smith goggles this year and am very happy. The vices are great because not only do they give you an excellent field of vision when you're rippin but are real comfortable. great gogs

    Perfect fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I LOVE the smith vice googles. I ski about 5 days a year unfortunately due to my busy schedule but I still wanted a top of the line level google. I just skied in Breckenridge. We had two blue bird days and the black out lens was perfect. I have never had better visibility and even as it got later in the afternoon the blackout lens worked when the light was flatter. We also had a white out day with 50 mph winds. I bought the blue sensor 2 replacement lens. This was perfect for overcast weather and white out conditions. I think for serious skiers who might not be willing to pay for the smith I/Os, having the blackout lens and the blue sensor 2 lens would cover all conditions you could ask for. I was worried that the lenses would be hard to change but they really weren't. I watched a 2 minute youtube video on how to change it and then actually changing the lens took about 30 seconds. I would highly recommend these googles to anyone!!! I also never had ANY fog.

    Perfect fit!

    Tried and True

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been a long time fan of Smith products and these goggles are definitely one of their bests - especially for the money! I got one of the mirrored lens styles and have loved them. I will definitely by a second lens for cloudier days and night skiing. Do note that these do NOT come with an extra lens. These also fit great with my non-Smith helmet so no worries there! Highly recommend.

    Extremely Disappointed

I was super stoked to finally try a pair of Smith goggles but couldn't have been more disappointed. The first time I wore them a huge amount of fog built up in between the two lens panels. I figured I got a faulty pair so I contacted a customer support rep to exchange them. The rep tried to tell me that this happens to most goggles, but trust me, this amount of fog INSIDE the two lens panels is not normal. The rep exchanged them for another pair but the second pair I received was just as bad. I've worn a lot of snowboarding goggles in the past and I've never had a fogging problem like I did with these. I would not recommend these goggles.

      Great Value

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these as a gift for my sister. She wanted a pair of I/Os but I pointed that they were overkill given she lives in NYC and only goes on a ski trip or two each season. These seemed to be a much better value fit for her needs.

      Solid Fit with Smith Helmets.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Perfect, seamless fit with the Smith Vantage Helmet. This helmet is a good look if the I/O's make you look a bit bug-eyed, like they do me. Lens changing is a tad cumbersome but by no means a dealbreaker.

You Won't Find Any Fog Here

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I picked up these goggles recently, and they've been great. Unlike previous goggles that I have owned, these have never fogged up and I don't think that they ever will. The lens are clear and are great in the sun and all light levels. They're a wide set of goggles so the peripheral vision is quite good too. They also look really nice too, if you care about that sort of thing. They're great for skiing, snowboarding, even snowshoeing, or whatever floats your boat. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for good set of goggles.

      Best Goggle for the Price

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Been a fan of Smith for years and the Vice goggles are one of my newest favorites as of last winter. These goggles offer a super wide range of vision while also being comfortable and lightweight. I switch between a mirror lens for the sunny days and a clear lens for night riding. Switching lenses is relatively easy, but I wouldn't wait for a freezing cold chairlift ride to do it. Overall, one of the best goggles on the market for the price point and it is backed by Smith's limited lifetime warranty which they are super helpful in holding true to.

      Nice goggles, Dude!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really enjoyed the overall look and fit of these goggles.
With many color choices I was able to find the perfect match to go with my pants. On the mountain, a man stopped me and said "Nice goggles, Dude!. After a few days or riding, I had to agree with the man. These are SWEET!

      Great goggles!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These goggles are really well made and are super comfortable. They also fit seamlessly with my smith helmet. It's nice you can switch out the lens for different weather/time of day. Important to note that switching lens isn't a super quick process, but that's not an issue for me since I'm not switching lens throughout the day.

      The best

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these to replace the exact same pair that I lost. Love these goggles. Super comfortable and best range of vision of any goggle I've used, especially up/down.

In my experience, the lense are very durable, more so than the two pairs of Oakleys that I had before these.

Swapping lenses isn't as smooth as with the I/Os, but as long as you're not trying to do it on a chairlift in a blizzard they're fine.

      Great Goggles

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got the Black Goggles with the Red Sensor lens. These look good and feel great and it is also very easy to interchange the lens. If you are ready to upgrade from the cheap $40-$50 goggles where the foam starts to rip off after a year, then this is a great next step up for goggles.

      Gets the job done!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have way too many goggles but had to have that black on black in these. The verdict was a fresh looking goggle that isn’t super oversized or too little very happy medium size that doesn’t drown out my face and looks like I have a windshield. A feature that has shined so far this season is the Anti-fog venting thanks to the 5X inner lens, which Smith claims is the most advanced anti-fog lens on the market it has done extremely well. This goggle seems to be well constructed easy to switch lenses and a price point that leaves you with plenty of beer money you can’t go wrong.

      Gets the job done!

      Sure beats the competition

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased these in tandem with the Smith Vantage helmet and they work perfect together. No annoying gap between the helmet and the goggles. Also because of the strap design, the helmet does not interfere with the goggles having full contact with your face. This seems to be the problem with all of my friends and their goggles which results in lots of fogging issues. I purchased the black goggles with the ignitor mirror lenses which are pretty dark. The only time I have issues seeing snow is during the morning when the sun is extra bright but there are still lots of shadows from the trees. It works great on overcast days but that sharp contrast of bright to shade sometimes affects my vision. Overall, a great pair of goggles that has made many a friend of mine ditch their current goggles and get a pair of Smiths.

A decent goggle for the average rider!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My dad was in town for the holidays and I decided to get these for him. He has been using some 8 year old Oakleys and I decided it was time he upgraded. I got him the Black Interceptor/Red Sensor Mirror. He loved them and said he was able to see the snow very well. The sun wasn't blinding him on sunny days and the low light didn't bother him on cloudy days. I think they might have fit the face a bit small but he didn't complain. A great buy for the guy or gal only riding a handful of times a year.

      Smith Vice - White/Ignitor Mirror

Love these goggles! Best I've ever had by far (but have only had cheaper goggles before these i.e. Lower end bolle, Scott and one time Walmart goggles). Never fog up while riding, only when I put these on my forehead but that seems like there is no fix. I've gotten many compliments on them already and like the ignitor mirror lense as a "do-it-all" lense for the time being. Great vision, nothing is obscured.
