Trees are great, until you hit one.

There's a lot to see out there—rocks, lift towers, small children, snow guns, porcupines—so it's best not to take the "There's probably nothing in my way" approach; instead, try the crystal clarity and serious comfort of the Smith Scope Goggles. The dual Carbonic-X lenses have TLT optics to mirror the shape of your eyes for precise vision, and an Airflow ventilation system to keep you fog-free even on soggy days. With tons of lens and strap choices, you can dial in your look, and the easy helmet compatibility of the Scope means you won't have to hang your brain out to dry just to get goggles that look sick and perform just as well.

Best bang for your buck

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased these goggles as a backup pair for when I have friends come to town. These goggles are pretty great for the price. Great entry level goggle.

Fog Up Every Time

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought the Scope *with Fog-X anti-fog inner lens* and they fog up every time I use them.. Love the look of these googles, but sadly will be returning them.

Make sure your face mask isn't underneath the bottom of the goggles there at your nose. I was riding in -8 conditions with -20s wind chill and mine were fogging up and freezing over on me. Then I realized my ski mask was underneath the bottom of the goggles. Other than that one time, that was my mistake, these goggles have been perfect

Comfy, not foggy

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

These were a gift for my sister, and here's what she had to say ," comfortable goggles. Fits well and doesn't fog up."

Great Value

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My husband bought these. Here is what he had to say.--"My first time wearing googles. Didn't think I would like them but these are very comfortable and never fogged up once. Wore them at night, in the rain and everything in between. Never fogged up once and had good visibility in all conditions."

Great Value!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

With almost every goggle available these days being over $100, I got my hands on a pair of these Scopes and they worked great for me. I used the sol-x lens and it was awesome in the sunny weather. Even when the sun went behind the clouds, it still performed well. Never fogged so I am stoked with these goggles!

Warm Day Goggle

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave these Goggles to my dad for Christmas this year. He needed a basic pair as he and my mom were still skiing in the original smith goggles from the 70's! That being said I thought these would be a great update for him.

I chose the blue sensor lens as he uses them for Cross country skiing and snow shoeing. This will allow in light in the fog and also protect your eyes from the UV rays.

The Venting on the bottom of the goggles unfortunately wasn't as great as we would've hoped, the goggles tend to fog after a few hours when my dad's face is really hot.

Outside of this he loves them and the fit is perfect!

Clear Views

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just back from 4 days of snow skiing last week. These goggles Rocked. No fog. Just the right tint for sun and shade. Fit my Anon Raider helmet perfectly. I liked how the "stick'em" on the band grasped onto the helmet. Great price and quick on the delivery.

Great quality for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Great goggles, especially considering the price. Great for hitting the slopes or clearing the driveway after a big snow, these are great.

Great for the price

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great goggles i got them because i love the fit of my old ones. However, the red frame does give a red glare inside the goggles when in moderate to high light situations

Good all purpose - for skiing or onions!

Went with the most economical choice on goggles as it was first time skiing in years and who knows when the next will be (fingers crossed, next year!) Goggles worked fine, the face fit would have probably felt better had I been using a Smith or other reputable helmet instead of the cheapo rental helmet where I got my other equipment, which is something I intend to invest in next time. The RC36 lens is as described - a good all purpose lens that works in all conditions. Might find it a little lacking on a clear day with sun in front of you, likewise a bit dark if night skiing under the lights (I actually got a taste of all conditions on the day I used them including night skiing) but perfect for overcast / hazy days.

Sadly, I only got the one day in skiing because on my second run of night skiing I went over a short ledge I wasn't expecting and got air....horizontally. Came down in the sled and that was the end of my ski trip :-( Luckily nothing broke and the ankle is recovering quickly. But I did crack the google lens, and while they aren't unusable I will probably invest in another pair of Smith's next time, maybe even some inter-changeable style. As for these, my wife can attest that they are also great for wearing in the kitchen when slicing up red onions!

    Solid goggles

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have the acid block/red sensor Scope goggles, and they rock. They are very nice for seeing where I'm going (because that's what goggles are for) and are also very stylish. They excell predominantly in lower light, as I find myself sometimes shielding my eyes on sunny lift rides. However, when you're riding, these goggles can't be beat. This is a great, low-cost goggle for everyone.
