See like Sage.

Sage Cattabriga-Alosa's signature Smith I/O 7 Goggles with Bonus Lens bring Sage's same unique style, vision, and performance to your everyday skiing experience. With frame-less construction and a spherical lens, you get full peripheral vision so you won't miss that little kicker in the trees. TLT (Tapered Lens Technology) optics don't distort your vision, so you can be sure that you aren't miscalculating the steepness of your line.

Smith pulled out all the stops to make fogging a thing of the past with its 5X anti-fog inner lens, Vaporator lens, and Porex filter. It also features Air-Evac ventilation, which aligns with the vents on your Smith helmet so you can get fog-free performance while keeping you dome safe. Smith threw in a spare Blue Sensor Mirror lens to keep you ready for changing light conditions. And with it's 3-layer Driwix face foam, you might just forget you're wearing goggles at all. So even though you might not be stepping up to the same big lines as Sage, at least you can enjoy the same crisp vision and anti-fogging technology.

Great goggle, beware of wrong lenses

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My 2nd pair of I/O7 goggles. My college-aged son conveniently took my other pair to school. The description here says this Sage version comes with a ChromaPop Everyday and a ChromaPop Storm lens. Mine arrived with the Everyday and the Sun Black lens (instead of the Storm). It turns out this is perfect for me as I had planned to order a separate Sun Black and would rarely use the Storm, so I got lucky with the misinformation. Just beware, though, that the lens option in the order dropdown is incorrect, or at least it was in my case. Btw this goggle fits perfectly with the Smith Code MIPS helmet, and the look is unique. It also comes in Sage-specific box and has a cool case that holds the goggles and an extra lens or 2. Rated a 5 despite the lens discrepancy.

Wear A Helmet!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It took me a while to get the fit dialed in, it feels like they designed them to fit better with a helmet, a lot of air gets in through the nose hole. My coworker responded by saying "well maybe you should get a helmet", I responded "NO" and, now, here we are.

The lenses are nice and I love how they look.

Favorite Goggles

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been using an older set of I/O goggles for the last few season. Most of the lenses were pretty scratched and the goggle itself was showing wear and tear. I picked up a pair of these with the chromapop lens and have been very happy. The lens changes are even quicker than the I/O and the chrompop lenses are awesome. I mostly used the storm and everyday lens, but I'm sure the sun lens will see more use in the spring.

Best Goggles.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I figured it was about time to purchase new goggles and this was a fantastic choice. The blue lens works amazing on bright, sunny days. The red, low-light lens highlights the contrasts in the snow so you can see much better than even a clear goggle lens. From a past ski racer, who raced all the time at night, I wish i had these lenses instead of my clear ones.

Gold Standard

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Love these goggles have skied with them for 7 days. They don't fog up and I skied the rain while everyone else's goggles were completely unusable. I like that there's a clip in the back of the strap so that its easy to take them on and off.

Only slight downside is I have a large head and the goggles are slighty too narrow across my cheeks, they leave imprints after a day of wear.

Changing the lense is pretty easy- takes me about a minute and a half per change. The lense case also makes it easy to take care of.
