I ordered the Violet Tort, and let me say: I am a big fan. I do have a med/largish head, but they fit snugly without any discomfort for hours on end. The hinge seemed extremely sturdy. I mostly wore them cycling fast downhill in full sun/ by the ocean / off-road in the woods and while hiking. The colors popped in shaded areas while the sun was tamed while head on and uphill. They stayed on my face while sweaty and looking around/down/shaking (within road riding needs, quick turning). They stayed on when the roads got rough. In my hair on my head, as a headband, stuck firm without getting wobbly at all after repeated use. Beautiful, to boot! My only sadness about them is that I did not buy the neck band ~ grandma thing, then hooked them in a front pocket, like an idiot, and lost them jumping over a wave in the ocean. Bought them on sale, but if it we?rent Christmas I?d totally replace them for myself at full price. Maybe for my B-day in Jan., I will. Whoever gets this last pair is lucky. They?ll be my go to once I put aside enough for another. I have freckles and fair skin, light auburn hair. The tortoise looked lovely and the colors poppin from both sides! Also! The tortoise is clear enough to let in a fair amount of light so I get like I kept a decent amount of my periferal vision. Maybe thinner rims with a little less opacity in the future? Edit: not thinner frames. I love them. OH! The anti fog with my face-mask worked WONDERS. 10/10 would recommend.
