    Keep your goggles nicer, longer.

The Smith Goggle Case is a fully rigid case designed to protect your cherished Smith goggles. A mesh bottom allows melting snow to easily drain and prevents moisture build-up between lenses, and felt sleeves hold spare lenses in reserve for those inevitable weather shifts from bluebird to graybird.

    Does the Job

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not a hard sided case as everyone else has mentioned. However, if you're looking for a case to keep your goggles and spare lenses in the same place this gets the job done. Put it in your carry on if you are flying so the airlines don't bust your shiny new goggs. Other than that, I'm happy with it and use it to store my I/O 7s and the two extra lenses.

    Soft-shell protection only

Reading the other reviews on this product, I'm of the opinion that this product is solely meant to be used while carrying the rest of your gear in a larger bag. It works just fine while in my ski boot bag along with my gloves, gaiters, hats and everything else I have packed in there.
I also like that it has an elastic and soft cloth on the lid to hold extra lenses, though I would like a stiffer divider between the two compartments for added protection.

Good day trip case, not for luggage

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I just needed a case to store my i/o goggles and a few lenses (you can fit 2 easily and 3 tightly in addition to the goggles) - this gets the job done and I can throw it in a bag with my helmet, gloves, etc. and not worry about anything getting tweaked or scratched on the drive up/back. I would not, however, depend on this case in a tightly packed suitcase on a long trip, as other reviewers mentioned it is certainly only a semi-hard case at best.

This case is as hard as a 90 year old?

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not a hard case. Cheap, works neatly and organizes extra lenses, but still worried about crushing lenses in pack if fallen on and thrown off a cliff in a strange unwanted situation. Probably should find a nice hard case instead and keep this thing in the truck.

      Just OK

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

No, this is not a hard case. I like the idea of keeping my goggles and especially my spare lenses safe. I think this does an under par job of doing that. I was pretty bummed that the spar lens apparatus was so poorly designed. It just seems like a kind of sketchy way to store the spare lenses. It would be cool if there was some sort of pop out folder that you could slip each lens into in a safe scratch resistant way. The Velcro and lens separators are just not as intuitive and safe as I would like to see in a goggle case. It's a quality case, it just kind of sucks in terms of design.

      Soft Goggle Case

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I like it because I can stuff it up into the helmet for easy carrying. Recommend to alter the design for the space of storing replacement lens.

Not a hard case or fully rigid !!

      • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The description is not correct. Not a hard case. Soft and small. The extra lens storage is poorly designed. It may work for just goggles but not much more, and it's soft. Come on smith folks! Your goggles rock, but this case is bad.

Does this fit the Smith IO X goggle?
