    Give your eyes a rest.

Perfect for reading down by the water, the Smith Challis Bifocal Polarized Sunglasses keep your eyes totally protected from harsh UV-rays while giving them a boost through magnification. Without affecting your long-range field of view, a strategically-placed 25mm-wide magnifying segment lets you easily read fine print without straining your eyes. Polarized ChromaPop lenses eliminate offensive glare found on the water or in the mountains, while enhancing the colors around you for a truly stimulating visual experience.

A hydroleophobic coating repels moisture, grease, and grime, and the anti-reflective coating on the backside of the lens eliminates bothersome sidelight reflections. Keeping the fit extra comfy, hydrophilic Megol nose and temple pads stay snugly in place through slick conditions, and the stainless steel spring hinges self-adjust when you're on the move. Without limiting your range of vision, Smith equipped these sunnies with an eight-base curvature to keep everything in sight.

    Yay! I can see!

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Stylish and narrow enough to fit under my ski helmet! That’s why I first bought these glasses. And thought I’d give the bifocals a try. Finally, I can read my phone or a map on a sunny day! What a concept. I would say, though, that the bifocals are much bigger (taller) than they need to be for an infrequent glance. They get in my sight line a bit while skiing or biking. I’ve mostly gotten use to it, don’t regret the purchase, but I wish Smith would make them smaller. High quality.
