    Good but too small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Great build quality, look good and the overall frame fits my head well. But returning because the eye coverage is small. About 1/2" shorter near the bottom of the lens than my other Smith glasses. Maybe 75% overall smaller? If you have a small face it may be ok.

Edit - duh I need the Smith Approach Max version.

    Great for running

These are great on my cold weather, windy day runs. No fogging and my eyes get super watery in cold weather. Fit nicely even with over ear headphones and a beanie. Great fit for a larger sized head. I held off spending the money but am glad I did.

Didn't expect to get 3 sets of lenses as part of the package. Comes in a solid carbon fiber looking case with spots for the extra lenses. Also comes with a soft case.

        These are super nice!

        Great eye protection

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I have had these since they came out and they have been great. I have a little bit of a smaller face so I went the the standard ones over the max lens. They state that they Are a medium fit and the Smith Parallels that I have were A medium fit as well, so I was hoping that they would fit the same and they do. They come with a nice hard case and 2 extra sets of lenses which is nice. I also went ahead and purchased some RX lenses for them as well, since they make RX for them without needing to use their adapter like on the area model. The clear lenses are great for mountain biking at night (with or without the RX lenses, but I'm pretty blind at night so the RX definitely helps) and the polarized lenses are great for on the water. I don't just use these for biking, as they are extremely versatile. I use them on the water a lot, whether fishing or paddling, around town, and out hiking. The two position nose pads are helpful in getting a good fit no matter what your face type is.

        Great eye protection

        Awesome Sunglasses

        • Fit: Runs small

I had to do these glasses some justice after seeing that they only had negative reviews. These glasses are amazing. I have been using them for over a year and I have no idea what I was using before I bough these. I lost a pair whitewater kayaking and I decided to take the hit and buy a new pair because I loved them that much. As far as people saying they are small, yes, that is true. I think smith products may run sort of small anyways (I have a medium snowboard helmet from them, but my motorcycle helmet is an XS and both fit perfectly...) and that may be why they are "medium fit". But these sunglasses are definitely for smaller framed faces. I am also female, so that says something in regards to sizing. As far as the colors go, I always look up pictures of the product on Google in in hopes of seeing how they may look behind a regular camera and not a Nikon eight hundred 56 B with a great backdrop and reflective doohickeys everywhere. I have the violet pair and I like them a lot. They are a little darker than how they look on my computer screen and the purple frame is transparent as opposed to the opaque look it has in the pictures.

This is the only picture I have of them on me, so I apologize for it being sideways and a little chopped off on the edges.

        Nice, but small

        • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The red poppy frame is more of a dull red, but no big deal there. The deal breaker is how small they are. These would fit a small face, too small for my avg size face. Sending them back and getting the larger version. The interchangeable lenses and case are nice, quality is nice.

Are the lenses clear and if so can I purchase different color lenses for these glasses

        Hey Leslie!

That's an excellent question. The glasses actually come with 3 interchangeable lenses, one of which is clear. I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to me directly!

        Unanswered Question

Are 2 extra pairs of lenses supposed to come with these? My glasses only came with one extra pair of lenses.
