- Q & A
Color Image/Description Inaccurate
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Unfortunately the socks described online as "winter white donegal" and looking online like a dusty cream color are nothing like the description... the socks arrived and are a dirty grey color, not at all as expected. Will be returning them and am disappointed in the inacurrate description/image, as was looking forward to wearing these. Have owned a number of smartwool's kneehigh socks, loved their warmth, breathability and comfort, and worn them to pieces.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I wear these with my taller boots during fall and winter. Keep my feet nice and warm during those colder months.
Pair with Tall boots
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I love these stocks - they are warm, cozy and look great with tall boots. I love wearing these socks over my jeans with tall boots on with a dress. Also soft and warm to wear around the house. I wear a size 6.5 shoe and bought a small. Fits great!
Nice for any activity
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
If you need a pair of socks to just keep your feet warm or to get out and about in, these are for you. I was very impressed with the quality and look. Very pleased with the purchase.
Another Great Smartwool Sock
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I own at least 20 pairs of smartwool socks. They're my go-to brand b/c of the quality, comfort, and warmth. Additionally, you find great prints and color options. These are great basic knee high sock that work great with winter boots or just to wear around the house if you want some extra warmth and comfort. They have enough give if you want to go for the exposed sock look over skinny jeans with your winter sorels ;)
Could you please weigh in on how smartwool women’s socks run, size-wise? Other types too, if you have info on them...I think I saw that darn tough women’s tall wool socks run small. I wear an 8.5 shoe, and have super bad circulation, so warm socks areworth their weight in gold to me. As long as they fit, of course.
