So comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
This is my wife’s new go-to hoodie. It is so comfortable. It is a nice weight with good climate control. She’s worn it many times since I bought it and loves it. Hope it’s available in other colors.

Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this product! I have 3 different colors. I am on the cusp of M and L sizing, but this item's large is a little roomier than other Smartwool thermals - so the fit is perfect. I also love the length of this item.

Very soft
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hoodie. It's so soft. I wear it with jeans and for skiing. I am going to order another in a different color.

Made for tall, long-limbed people (which is not me)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clearly made for tall, long-limbed people. The XS was huge on me (5'2", 100 lbs.) with the sleeves ~6"' too long. Fabric was nice as was the design, but in no universe would this fit me.

Like this too
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for cross country skiing. So many of the smart wool tops have zippers which in really cold weather doesn't make sense. I like this top because it protects my neck as well as my butt. The cost is high but I took the plunge

Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too lightweight. Wish I loved it but I don't. It's too lightweight for a hoodie in my opinion. The color is nice but the drape is wrong for a top this long.

Exceeds expectations!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I wore the hoodie I was in the mountains hiking in the snow in a hoodless coat. A wind storm erupted out of nowhere. I donned the hoodie and covered as much of my forehead and face as I could. Surprisingly, it quickly interrupted the stinging cold. The second time wearing it was a trip to GB in winter. It was cold, windy and wet! I ended up wearing the hoodie every day! I purchased a heavier Scottish merino wool sweater to survive, but the two combined ensured I was toasty warm in the most extreme conditions we encountered. I remain a fan!

Absolute go-to piece!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolute go-to for travel and mid-layering piece. The quality of the Smartwool clothing is on point. Every detail of craftsmanship is addressed. The knit is silky smooth, seams are never bulky, and resists the pilling and nappy effects of washing. While you can put them in the dryer on LOW, I chose to dry flat. The fit On the Smartwool hoodies is more of a loose fit, but still offers an hourglass fit- thankfully not a boxy square style. If you are in between - I would suggest size up.
