The loose weave that gives it its texture looks good but is very prone to snagging. This limits its usefulness as outer wear.

New Fall Staple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great new piece from smartwool! I'm 5' 11' and the Medium fits well with a little extra length. The sleeves are a tighter athletic fit with a bit more room in the body. Incredibly warm and will definitely be what I grab all fall. Works great for everyday wear around the house, hikes, and I even wore it for a round of golf. Definitely would recommend. #SmartwoolLove

This hoodie is everything you want it to be!
This hoodie is phenomenal. It feels so soft next to skin and keeps you warm when it is cool but is breathable enough for warmer temperatures, too. I wear it around the house all the time but it's dressy enough to take out to the farmer's market or wear to a family holiday.
