Exactly what I wanted

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. I needed an extra layer for hiking in cold weather that wouldn't make my back hot while wearing a pack. I can combine this jacket with another lighter or heavier Smartwool long sleeve shirt underneath, and it is perfect for hiking in the PNW during the colder months. I've even used this snowboarding under my snowboard jacket instead of a heavier insulated layer. I have a handful of Smartwool items, so I knew I could count on the small fitting me well, and it does. I'm smaller on the top and bigger on the bottom, and the small fits me perfectly. The fit around the waist is nice and stretchy, and it has generous length for my long arms. I LOVE this jacket!

Smart wool jacket
Perfect idea in that the coat has some puff around the chest and wool everywhere else. Great for layering. I am 5?8? and weigh 120. I got the blue color in XS and it fit well. The black one I got had to be exchanged for small because the chest was too tight. It?s a little roomier but still fits well and I can layer more under it.
