I have never used a vest for running before thought they were not enough warmth and probably too bulky to be comfortable but this vest is amazing. I am probably going to wear it the entire winter every single time. It's lightweight can wear what I want under it depending on the cold. I am in Calif so though it doesn't get very cold we do have a few low 30 days and this will enable me to not layer and then tie what's too heavy around my waist. I can't say enough about this vest and this website has the lowest prices every time I look for something for running. They have great customer service and highly recommend this vest and purchasing it here.

Close but not a good fit for Petite Gal

I have other SmartWool tops that fit me well (as a Petite), and was hopeful for this vest - but it is just a bit too long and thus tight across the hips. I could zip it, but it caused the vest to push upward and balloon up around the waist and chest. Bummer, sending it back.
