    I'm Hooked

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these because I like skiing in merino socks for warmth, moisture management and comfort. Smartwool figured out how to create a good performance fit with their weaving pattern which is critical when I'm skiing hard all day. I went for the bright pink; it wasn't as bright as I'd hoped, but didn't change a thing about how nice these socks are.

    My new favorite socks!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are Great! They are thin, warm and amazing! This is my first pair of ultralight snowboard socks. I won't go back to the thicker socks after these. I love the way they fit (even over both of my taped ankes...) They didn't shift or move around inside my boot while I rode on and off piste with quite a bit of hiking around. The seams didn't bother me at all (and I have very sensitive princess and the pea type feet).

    Comfy!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got these as a gift for someone, but have some feedback! "They are super comfy and I love how thin they are. Thin enough to still feel comfy in ski boots and have a lot of responsiveness with the boot, but not too thin. Keep me warm as well, and I love the design!"

    Smartwool PHD Ski Socks

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are a little thinner than i typically wear, but they still feel good skiing, i just wouldn't use these on really cold days.

    Smart Wool For Life

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Smart wool socks are the perfect companion for my ski boots, they keep my feet warm while allowing a small amount of material in my ski boot. I haven't found a sock that feels better while on the slopes. Their style also makes them fun to wear under my Sorrels during the day or for apres.

    No frills, solid ski sock

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 120lbs

My wife purchased these. Here's her review:
I finally broke down and added a few pairs of new ski socks to my arsenal to replace my threadbare ones after many years. I have been very happy with the comfort, durability and cost of Euro Socks, but decided to try these on my husband's recommendation. I've had wool socks in the past that have become abrasive feeling after several hours in ski boots, but these do not fall into that mold. Didn't even notice I had them on after a day of skiing. Relative to other ski socks, these have minimal padding and are thin, but they stay in place and fit true to size. Overall very happy to add these into the mix!
