    Warm, comfortable, breathable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The perfect ski and winter hiking sock. The right weight for most winter pursuits, combing a good amount of warmth with comfortable padding in key areas. I have had mine for a year now, and they are showing very little wear after a full season of skiing.

Great with 3/4 length base layer

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got these and regularly wore them with a 3/4 length Smartwool baselayer. Lengths were perfect to clear the ski booth while staying warm and offering a smooth surface. Very happy with the purchase.

The GO TO sock for the outdoors !

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these socks, best hiking sock I have ever worn. These socks truly make a difference in my performance on the mountain. Made of Merino Wool, they are very comfortable & durable. I've been buying this brand for over 10 years and am still wearing my original pair. Highly recommend !

Good socks make a the difference

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Soft, Comfortable, high performance and overall just great socks! If you don't have good quality ski socks already. You need to pick up a pair of these. You won't be disappointed.

    Feet Huggers

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these for my boyfriend, brother, sister, mom, dad, uncle, aunt and myself.. If you want a solid winter sock for any outdoor activity for the winter time, grab these sock and be glad you did.

    Super comfy socks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These socks really help keep your feet warm in low temps, and the padding is nice because you can be on your feet for long periods of time without them hurting!

    The Best!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These socks are the best! They are my favorite to wear snowboarding. Not only do they keep my feet toasty warm but they also allow them to breathe. Everyone who snowboards or ski's should own a pair of Smartwool ski socks. They are the bee's knees! I wear a size 8 in women's shoes and the medium size fits me best.

    It's Smartwool...what did you expect?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

5 stars all the way. They seem to always be the right warmth no matter what the temps are doing outside. Extra stretchy around the ankle and arch help keep them in place. No hot spots. Highly recommended!

    Dad's Faves

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Dad is a ski host for a resort in Utah, so he's in ski boots majority of the winter. He loves these socks. Unlike other socks, these will last him an entire season. They've become a staple stocking stuffer for him.

    Must have

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

It really is a game changer when you have nice ski socks under the not so comfortable design of ski boots. Has padding in all the right areas and keeps the feet warm.

    Great winter socks

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use the socks for hunting in New England in December snows. Very few socks can keep you warm while sitting in the cold yet shed moisture and keep you feet dry ( preventing overheating) when you exert yourself hiking through the snow. These socks do it all and stay up at the top of your calf's all day.

    Good socks.

Good socks, these are comfortable, dry quickly, stay up and hold up well to abuse. I use them under my waders for fishing, for skiing and with my hunting boots for multi-day elk hunting trips. They keep your feet dry and I’ve had no issues with (ashamedly) three to four days of continuous use on long back country trips

      Must Have Socks

      • Size Bought: Medium
      • Height: 5'8"
      • Weight: 175lbs

Not all ski socks are created equal, and SmartWool stands at the top of the pile. These socks are key to keeping your feet and toes happy anytime you're on the slopes. Extra padding at the shin and foot keep everything cushy while staying nice and toasty. And they're extremely durable! I have no worries about my little pinky toe poking through the material because it simply doesn't rip!

      First choice

These are hands down my favorite ski sock, they aren't too thick or thin and they don't bunch up. I can wear them on an extremely cold day and get away with spring skiing in them because they breathe so well. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who likes warm toes and a sock that doesn't bunch.
