    Short :\

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am a 30B and its hard to find something that is narrow and long enough. I got his bra in XS and it always rides up and bunches at my neck. I took it to a trip to Denali and regretted it. Because it rides up and bunches it rubbed my shoulders pretty raw. Overall I only use it when I have to :(

Not cold anymore bc my bra layer is damp

YES, I wore this four days in a row of heavy skiing. No smell even as I put it in the wash days later. (I hung it up each overnight to air out.)
I NEVER felt cold or damp- wishing I had a dry bra because it was DRY the whole week! I am buying another one - just so I can wash one and wear the other. ( I work out outside year round riding horses and skiing in New England winters. I am tired of being cold and getting a dangerous chill because my bra layer is damp!) Kudos to Smart Wool!!! I am a believer and a buyer!

    Love it!

I just summited Mt. Kilimanjaro on New Years Day with these bras. It was an 8-day trek. One bra got me through at least 4 days without odor or discomfort!! They breathe & dry perfectly. I sweated through the rainforest and heath habitats then continued through alpine desert/tundra and arctic habitats to the summit. I'm 5'2", 122lbs, and usually wear a 34B bra. The small is too tight but the medium is sooo comfy! Will definitely be buying more. :)

    Great bra!!!!

I absolutely love this bra. It’s my new favorite. I swear it for yoga and hiking. Wouldn’t wear it for high impact such as running but it’s perfect otherwise. I find myself wearing it as a regular bra because I HATE bras in general and this is so comfy.
It’s also great at wicking sweat due to the smart wool. Never gets stinky either. Already own about 6 of these.

    Magical

This bra is magical, I tell you! The material is extremely comfortable, the size L fit my 34C frame well (I probably could fit a Medium but the color I wanted was out of stock), dried very quickly, and kept away the stink after 3 intense uses. To test it out, I wore it for a long run, a pickup soccer game, and an afternoon outdoor climbing, and it STILL didn't stink. I'm amazed. I will be buying more Smartwool bras for sure!

    Comfortable, fits, breathable

I am a 34DDD and it's difficult to find sports bras that fit. I ordered a size large. I needed a bra for kayaking, something not cotton, that the straps would not fall down and still gave me full range of motion. This bra is pretty perfect. It is warm but not sweaty, it's comfortable, I can move in it, sleep in it, exercise in it without it getting stinky and it fits! I will admit it is not a perfect fit, my chest gets all smashed together, no separation or definition, but there is little show through, no bulging out of anywhere and no ride up. At some point I plan to get one or two more. There isn't much support for me and I wouldn't use it for anything higher impact that kayaking or hiking.

    Love this bra

Finally a bra that doesn't leave me feeling like I have a wet rag wrapped around my bust after a full day of backcountry! I love this bra. Ample support yet comfortable. Doesn't leave you freezing cold when you break a sweat.

    Best Sports Bra Ever

I love this sports bra. I have 3 of them now because I kept "saving" them to only wear on backpacking and climbing trips and would never wear them day to day. It's fantastic because it doesn't smell for backpacking. I tend to rotate two of these and I'll rinse it out and it usually dries overnight, or the next day on my pack. And even if I can't rinse it out, it doesn't smell bad for quite a few days! Super tight and supportive, although I wear a 32B, so I have a smaller chest, but it works absolutely perfectly for me. I like it for running/playing soccer as well.

    Love this bra!

Stays warmer than usual sports bra when hiking or working out in cold weather. Great fit and love the design.

    Very comfy!

Great seamless feel in merino = winning. I went ahead and bought 2 more.

SO much better than Smartwool's first gen sports bras which were too tight and had very little stretch. They were hard to move in and be active in. This version is the total opposite. The seamless construction is great, I almost forget I have it on.

    The perfect everyday sports bra

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 160lbs

This product answered my prayers for a comfy, cute, natural fiber sports bra for every day and low impact activity. I'm fairly well-endowed and have trouble finding a good balance of comfort, style and support in a sports bra and this one fits the bill perfectly. With a 100% merino lining, high-performance synthetic outer and little vent holes throughout, this bra stays cool and comfortable even after long office days or long, sweaty hikes. Great, vibrant colors that look great even when peeking out from under your dress or tee.

    Mom LOVES it

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

My mom has recently surprised me with how athletic she's been. I have no doubt that she can run far longer than I can. However I recently found out that she's been wearing regular bras for running, yoga, hiking, etc. So I got her these and here's what she's said:

VERY comfortable and supportive. Absorbs moisture without being too smelly. Most importantly the sizing is accurate.

    Comfortable and Secure

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 114lbs

I bought this for gym visits. It keeps my chest strapped down pretty well. I found the fit to be true-to-size, granted I have a small chest size (32A). I could see how it's a bit tight for bigger chests, but it works well for me. I find the material comfortable, and it feels nice against the skin.

    Perfect for cold weather workouts

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 155lbs

I bought this for cycling in the cold weather, because I perspire. It can be 20 degrees, and I'm gonna sweat. And then you freeze as soon as you stop. This smartwool bra did the BEST job of any of the countless sports bras I've been through over the years at wicking a lot of that moisture away. I don't overheat while working out outdoors and I don't freeze when I stop. It was too warm for me to wear to an indoors class, but now I know. I'm a merino wool convert.

    Comfortable moderate support

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I'm a 34 C/D and sized up to the large for a comfortable fit with minimal support. A medium probably would have worked well for higher impact stuff, but since I'm using this for low impact activities, the large works great. Some nice little fabric features makes this bra slightly more interesting, but at its core it's a simple merino/spandex racer back, sans pads. It's a new go-to for biking, hiking, yoga and skiing. Many uses before it shows any signs of needing a wash. Love the hibiscus heather pink!

    Good fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I wear a 34C and the small is a good fit. I use it for running and it works well, stays in place, and doesn't smell afterwards. Love it.

    Awesome, runs small

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

I've never understood why it's so hard to find a fleece or merino sportsbra, because they are the bomb for skiing, snowshoeing, and any other winter sport, whether you do them aggressively enough to sweat or no. SmartWool's is good because the exterior layer is a poly fabric that keeps the wool inner layer from stretching out quickly. Fit: rides a bit high--that is, the band is juuuust low enough to stay put (and friends who got it confirm this). Size UP. By Smartwool's chart, I'm either an S or M (34B) but I needed an M, maybe because of big shoulders. But petite friends who are S or M by the chart (34A) also needed M. Main reason for sizing up is for comfort of straps around armpits and security of the band not riding up. I just wore it for a week and a half straight and now it's finally a bit stretched out. No smell, though. :-) It would be nice if they would go back to making more colors. I am so tired of default black.
