I might purchase a 2nd pair as back up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are good for moderately cold days. Because they are light in color they are useful for walks in low light because they are visible in vehicle headlights

Soft but sizing and touch screen issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have trouble using my touch screen and it's frustrating so I take my gloves off to use it. It seems like the fit is for people with longer fingers than I have so I wish I had sized down. But the material is soft and it's a nice light/mid weight for everyday use in a chilly environment or as a liner under snow gloves.

Great gloves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect gloves. I use them as liners under my ski gloves and alone for walks and running. The sensor tips work well so far and they wash nicely.

I wish my fingers were longer, otherwise a great liner

The challenge with liners, I feel, is finding one that's thin, but durable. I've received liners (from non-Smartwool companies) that have ARRIVED with tears/holes. These 'feel' like they are around 200 gauge merino in terms of thickness. Still, I ONLY use these as liners in my mittens for single-digit temps, and they do the job well. They would be completely acceptable for walking/hiking (without poles) when it's chilly. The cuffs are long enough so there aren't gaps between the glove and coat. They get four stars because of the fit. It's perfect everywhere except the finger length. I WANT to give it 5-stars purely because of the Honey Gold Dot pattern, but the extra room in the fingertips is a nuisance. Perhaps a wash may shrink them a bit. If you've got long fingers these would be awesome. Touch screen function: It's okay, but a non-factor for me. Chairlift rides are zen time.

Lighter but warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my second pair of thermal merino gloves. They are not as hardy as some but nice for driving and hiking in temps 30 or above. Thin but warm. #sweepstakes
