I need to buy a backup
This is my new holy grail layer. The wind protection panel made all the difference for me versus a regular wool or synthetic mid layer. The functionality of a long zipper, thumb holes and breathable side panels make it super cozy and keeps movement unrestricted. I'm surprised the backpacking community has slept on this model, they are missing out!

Weird feel and weight
Did not like the weight or the feel of the windproof panel, wound up returning it. I have a bunch of SmartWool products, love them all especially their 100% merino beanies, but this one was just not what I expected.
