I have several types of wool underwear brands that are a bit too thick these to me are just right and allow better air flow for me. I originally purchased a couple and ended up buying three more.

Bought these for hiking. They are "soft" but chafe a lot in warmer weather. Only useful for normal use/short days, not for long hiking days. As with most merino wool gear, these do reduce odor.

They don't even feel like I'm wearing them. I just had to check to be sure I hadn't gone commando. Extremely comfortable for a performance underwear.

Best

I have try many brand and fabrics and different prices but this smart wool is the best and most comfortable. Even wool from woolx and woolly still no match. Tommy John and Mark Walden also cannot match up. Although the air knit from Mark Walden is ok. I order one size larger for comfort. Worth its price. Wait for the sale is even better.

Being quick-drying and anti-microbial, wool garments are great candidates for being your one pair of camp clothes on a multi-day trip. Bought these in advance of a 7 day bike trip to be my off-bike undies. Very comfortable the whole time and not smelly. Might buy more pairs in the future, but you can get a lot out of a single pair if you're smart ;) about it.

These are the most comfy briefs I own. They dry pretty fast and wick moisture very well.

Greatest. Boxers. Ever. No smell, surprisingly durable, quick drying, comfortable when sweaty. Can easily go multiple days without washing, if that's your style.

These are amazingly comfortable and I think I officially like them more than saxx, which I never thought would happen. Might sound gross but thanks to the 87% wool content you can easily wear these multiple days between washes with zero odor. I'd recommend air drying. 33" waist Medium was perfect

After years of being turned off by the price, I finally picked a pair of these up when I had multiple pairs of synthetic stuff unravel. These are definitely hyped up for a reason! They are comfy, climate controlled, minimally smelly, and great for travelling. Invest in happiness and just take care of them, so your investment pays off.

Comfortable, breathable, durable

I'm a huge fan of merino wool for any type of base layer. The downside with other brands (e.g., icebreaker) can be the durability. The Smartwool Merino 150 boxer briefs solve this (somehow) and are durable, while still be breathable and comfortable for all day use. The cool color options are a nice bonus!

Wish I had a pair for every day of the weak, so I wasn't tempted to just wear these all week haha Comfortable fit, very comfortable during activity. Merino odor resistance is a real thing.

Extremely comfortable, merino always feels great on the skin. Supportive and does a great job of temperature regulation. They also look great, I got the Tandoori Orange which is a fantastic color. I will be looking to purchase more in the future.

These held up great to a rigorous summer of backcountry trips. Merino is a guides best friend. Synthetics smell / hold on to smell even after washed. These stay fresh and fit well. Not incredibly comfortable but really no complaints very happy with purchase.
