Why isn't all underwear merino wool?!!?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable and love that it adds a layer of hygiene to my lady bits. I'm a size 12/14 and got the size Large and it fits great. Got these before a recent trip to Costa Rica, and so glad I did. With the humidity and heat, it was breathable and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Amazing. Replacing all my everyday underwear with Smartwool
Amazing. I've purchased so many pairs of these Smartwool panties, as well as the thicker hipster intraknit ones. They are buttery soft, and have been durable in my case - my oldest pair is only about a year old, and at this price point I would expect them to last at least two years, so we'll see. But I've purchased other brands of merino panties and these are hands down my favorite, so much so that I've been slowly working on rotating out all of my synthetic and cotton underwear (except for some date night lingerie type stuff) over the last year. I travel a lot, and also like to go on hiking trips, etc which means that I'm either spending too many hours sitting in a plane, or long days sweating outside. The naturally moisture-wicking and antimicrobial properties of wool blend fabrics makes such a huge difference in how I feel at the end of the day. Cotton and synthetics can get so gross just within a couple hours, and I find it really unpleasant - and if I'm traveling some place that takes 24+ hours to reach, or if my baggage gets delayed and I don't have a change of clothes for a night, forget it. When I'm wearing this kind of underwear, it's one thing that makes me a little less miserable - they keep me feeling "fresher" for longer. I hope Smartwool will keep making these, and invest in different cuts and colors. My one complaint about Smartwool is that although they're great at making many different pretty and interesting socks, the style and cut for other types of clothing they make is severely behind other technical/athletic clothing brands. If they could get better at this, they'd be ahead of the competition in pretty much every way. For the underwear at least, they hold their shape, have a reasonably flattering cut, and are attractive enough that I don't mind if my partner sees them - but would be nice to see more colors and patterns that aren't as granny-like as some of their other clothes.

Great!
I am petite but curvy (think Sir-Mix-A-Lot's most famous dong), so ordered a size up and could not be happier. These are comfortable, stay in place and barely show lines under thin gabardine or silk pants. They do not ride up or gather. They also are breathable. As soon as the nude/almond color is back in stock, I will be buying more.
