I ordered these gloves and wore them in my house ? I couldn?t decide if I really wanted them. After just using my phone a bit while sitting outside, I decided they didn?t live up to the Smartwool brand. They weren?t that comfortable, were scratchy, and just felt pretty cheap. I wanted something softer and lighter. These do hold heat in okay. They?d do the job as a liner I suppose, but still not that comfortable.

Touchscreen part gets holes quickly

I loved these- warm, work with my touchscreen, found them perfect for winter running and commuting. However, I got small holes quickly in the fingertips at the touchscreen fabric, after a week or two of use. Not sure if this is a common problem or if I got a defective product, since there were loose threads and some fraying as soon as I opened the package. After about two months of consistent use, the index finger hole is completely blown through. I would repurchase but at this price point I can't buy new gloves every two months. A little disappointing knowing the usual quality and longevity of my other smartwool products.

Perfect winter running glove. If it's below 10F or really windy I'll put a running mitten over, but for nearly all Vermont winter miles they are all I use.
