Busted at the seams

I wore these for the first time over the weekend, and when I pulled them up the waistband separated from the leggings and created a huge hole! So I'm very concerned about durability and disappointed. I wore them anyway and they kept me warm at an outdoor evening event, so if they hold up I think they will work well. But I'm bummed I'll have to pay to get them repaired already.
