Great Baselayer That Wore After Two Years of Very Heavy Use
This product's ventilation system worked wonderfully. The fit was perfect (5'9, 140lbs - Small), and these pants don't stink even if you live in them daily. Bought two years ago, and I have worn them around 100 days of the year. From weekly backcountry skiing in the Alps to working in the Uinta desert for months, these guys are awesome. Unfortunately, their bottoms have entirely deteriorated (fraying starting at the crotch). There are other brands I own that have seen the same use and are fine, but overall I'm not complaining. I used the heck out of them.

NO
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lack of a "fly" is a non-starter in my book. Fabric is slightly irritating to my skin. Returned them

I have several sets of these and I absolutely love them. I wear them under my scrubs 2-3 times a week for 13+ hour days. I've been doing this for several months and when I saw them go on sale I immediately purchased more. Part of what I do requires me to be outdoors in the early morning. It's not feasible to wear a jacket under full medical PPE and these bottoms do an amazing job of keeping me warm. Also when the temps go up they actually do a great job of keeping me cool and dry. I have synthetic stuff (32 degree, REI) but this Intraknit Smartwool material is amazing at regulating temperature. It really does manage to keep you both warm when cold and cool when hot. For camping, I've overnighted with them backpacking on snow/ice in below freezing temperatures. I wore these as the base layer (top and bottom). Couldn't have been happier or warmer. The other benefit to the Intraknit version is that these bottoms are "articulated". There's more comfort in how they fit as the panels reduce the drag or constant pull on your body that you sometimes get with wearing "tight" fitting garments. I love the paneling at the knees as it really helps with the range of motion. I can wear these for 12+ hours a day and not feel fatigued- they're insanely comfortable. I wish they were cheaper but for what they do I haven't found anything better.
