This dress is simply fab for a winter mountain trip! I wore this constantly on a month-long stay in Chamonix, and it was as easy as throwing on a sweatshirt while looking put-together. I wear this over my underlayers with snow boots apres-ski, or with tights or leggings and tall boots any other time. Easy to wash and air dries over night - both in the sink or washing machine. As for fit, I usually wear a small in smart wool tops and the small fits in this dress. I am 5’8” and have a long torso, but this is not too short nor does it cause the funny gapping I often get in dresses. It is amazingly flattering because of the quilted panels, and no worry about panty lines or anything else showing from under this dress. Big fan!!!
