This shirt fit beautifully, and was perfectly made. Smartwool does such a nice job. I am 5'5 115 lbs and the small fit in my favorite way. The wool is thick and luxurious. The first thing I did after opening the box was put it on and go for a walk in the sun. And as the sun heated the wool, I realized with dismay---it had an odor I have smelled once before, in a 100% merino wool icebreaker shirt and I battled the odor in that shirt for like a year before giving up. The wool is stinky! It is a sulphur smell, and I'm not sure why an article of wool clothing will sometimes have that smell. I have sheep, and they are like humans, each unique. Perhaps some sheep are just much stinkier...maybe wool from a ram or something causes it! But whatever the case, the shirt says dry clean only yet here I am writing this review as the shirt sits in my washing machine with the strongest gentle wool soap I could find in the hopes that I can remove the odor and the wash doesn't ruin it. I left it out in the sun all day to try to cook it out without washing it, but the heat only seemed to make it smell stronger. Fingers crossed it takes the washin, cause I love this shirt!!!
