Vertical Snowboard

On those days when we wake up ready to drop in on steep lines and step up to huge cliffs, we make sure the Slash Vertical Snowboard is first in the car. Highly directional in flex and shape, this board is meant to rip technical lines and powder-filled chutes. With a Float Camber profile, the Vertical's larger, subtly rockered nose allows us to surf through deep stuff without submerging, and a setback stance and slightly stiffer tail give us the stability needed to slash turns and stomp landings with authority. Buried Treasure reinforcements use basalt, carbon, and KEVLAR® fibers, in combination with the strategically profiled core, to allow the board's edges to flex downward and make for nimble control with extra grip over icy spots.

  • Mid-stiff-flexing, directional board that's born to surf pow
  • Float Camber profile floats like a dream and drives from the back
  • Big nose, subtle rocker, and swallowtail sink your backfoot in pow
  • Pop woodcore shaves weight while boosting strength
  • Buried Treasure amplifies pop and response while cutting weight
  • Triax/biax layup offers torsional stiffness to eat up chop
  • Sintered base absorbs a ton of wax and keeps you flying downhill
  • Item #SLHE00A

Hi, I am 175lbs, size 10 DC T. Rice boots with medium Union Strata bindings. Would the 161 be too big for my boots/bindings size with a waist width of 259? Should I go instead with the 157 with a 250 waist width? Or the 157 would be too narrow? Thank you!
