X-Tra-Dry Rear Fender
The SKS X-Tra-Dry QR Fender is an update of the classic backscratcher fender. The backscratcher is so named for the shape. It's long and straight, with a curve at one end. Off the bike, it could do double-duty as a back scratcher. On the bike, it has a quick release strap that grabs onto the seat post or seat tube, a pivot behind the quick release to adjust the angle of the fender, and a long, narrow fender surface that keeps the chamois from getting too soggy and rooster tails from soaking the back. Can be used both on road and off. The color is Black. Weight is 140g.

Great for the price
Got one of these on sale. Next time on sale may buy another. Easy on and off. Easy to adjust and has stayed where I set it so far. Have it on a Kona precept. Nothing fancy but for the price excellent. If it breaks in a couple years or I crash it is no big loss. Also, No more stripe of mud up my back on a wet day!

Guard Your Mud
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had a number of these fenders over the years, not because they fail but because they get lost or stolen and I feel they're the best quick fender on the market. On-off is very fast, coverage is good (obviously a full coverage fender will work better but who wants those on their bike all the time in the desert?), and durability is top notch. The only very minor complaints are that initially setting up the strap to your seatpost size is slightly fussy and the silicone grippers on the strap wear off after years of use.

Simple, effective
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Its a fender, and will get the job done. Totally tool less attachment to your seatpost, and clips on and off super quick and easily. It won't keep every little drop of water and mud from getting to you, but its leaps and bounds better than not using a fender. Cheap, too- bonus.
