Prodry Bib Pant

When nasty weather is pretty much a guarantee, so are wide open waters and crowd-free rivers. In times like these, you can rely on the Simms ProDry Bib Pant to keep you dry as you get your boat into your favorite piece of water. These nearly bombproof bibs are made with a top-of-the-line Gore-Tex Pro shell, have fully taped seams, and have an ultra durable face fabric with 70-denier nylon reinforcements placed in high wear areas. Since staying dry from the inside is just as important as it is from the outside, the ProDry Bibs are equipped with full-length two-way ventilation zips, so you can cool down quick once things heat up. Large pockets at the thighs are big enough to hold a couple of large fly boxes, while tool sleeves secure your expensive pliers when they're not in use. Lower leg hem lifters allow the length of the hems to be quickly adjusted, so they don't wear out too soon.

Fishing guide tested

Fantastic quality and durability. As a fishing guide in one of the most brutal environments “Venice Louisiana” weather is always a questionable topic daily. I no longer worry if I’m going to get wet any longer with this set up!

Pro Dry......The best I've ever owned!

The Pro Dry was put to the test here in the PNW this last weekend! Rain, rain and sideways rain. I was bone dry! The best I've ever owned!

Pro Dry Bibs definitely a plus in my outerwear arsenal!

I like everything but the zipper, it’s like having to zip up a Jacket. But other than that they perform great! I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for high end Bib, love having 2 cargo pockets and 2 hand pockets.

MUST HAVE

I???m in these each and every day during the season. Living in WI and fishing across the border in MN often makes for cool mornings and evenings even in the summer months. I???ve also had these in the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific and Atlantic and everywhere in between. Salt water, fresh water, it simply doesn???t matter. I couldn???t be more confident in these bibs than I am.They are the most crucial part of my kit for sure. Then, once you???re out in the elements and staying dry becomes the focus, that???s when the Pro Dry really shines. The only way you???re getting wet in this gear is if you fall in and become completely submerged! Best there is.

Best bass fishing bibs made

As far as a bass fishing application, these bibs are the the best. The Simms ProDry bibs are what the rest of the industry is attempting to achieve. Best material and superior assembly, make the ProDry bibs bone dry and durable for years of abuse. It could use a little more room in the mid area and chest for layering in cold weather.

A step backwards from its predecessor, no chest pocket and a cheaper strap system. A bit bulkier too.

Best bibs made - HANDS DOWN!

The best there is! If you need to protect yourself from the elements, you can't get any better than these bibs. They are made for slender body types and could have more room for extra layers or chubby types. After years of hard use they will stay with you. The competition does come close.

Good but could've been way better. Waiting for version 3.0.

Was looking forward to utilizing the newer 2021 ProDry bibs as an upgrade to my original ProDry bibs but honestly was somewhat disappointed as several features on new ones seem like a cost savings downgrade. Utilize them for film work during rainy season in the Canadian PNW so maybe don't get put through the same rigors as open saltwater fishing but they get put through the ringer in countless other ways. The added reinforced material bottom, kneed and ankle areas are definitely a welcome addition as being a camera operator in the bush and in urban environments I do put constant wear & tear on these points. Had to pay attention to what I sat and kneeled on for the originals but no longer have to baby them with the new model. This feature is the best thing about these newer bibs for my use case. Internal chest pocket design change is okay...but personally I prefer the original chest zip pocket for ease of access on the fly. At this price point why not have both...internal on right and chest on left?! Also side pocket postion was a little better on older model for me. Also prefer the reflective hit graphic design of older model. If you have both pairs side by side you'll probably agree with me. Old ones just look better to me. Big letdown is that inseam length is now way too long for shorter...or average height...people. Needs a short inseam option. Old model was only 1inch too long but on this new one seems like was only designed for 6ft plus peeps as material either drags or needs to be cinched up super tight which looks terrible all bunched up. For that reason mainly using these as my back up pair and the original still as my daily drivers. Worst part is the new shoulder V strap design. Keeps slipping and needs constant re-tightening. Terrible compared to the older H strap design which was bombproof for my use. All in all still way better than the competition but could've been even better. Not sure if Simms still takes on customer feedback but hopefully these comments can be forwarded to R&D... Thanks and keep putting out killer products Simms!

ProDry gear is another winner.

First, I highly recommend the ProDry! I’ve put them on the next day after they arrived. Spent 3 solid days of hard musky fishing in the rain and snow. Had the proper Simms layering on also. The result was, I was dry and warm everyday all day! Remind you, it never stopped raining or snowing. Northern Wisconsin weather in the November is brutal. Simms gear has never let me down, and the ProDry jacket and bids did the job. Thanks Simms for another great product. John C

Could you make a shorter version

I just had these sent to me but they are too long - I wish they would make a shorter version. I have the older version where the legs are shorter and they work incredible - I was hoping to upgrade but I had to send them back. Overall they looked incredible - I would also add the side tag of the older version - I would put a ring through it on the side of the leg and that way you could hang a small towel there which is great after you are releasing a lot of fish. Overall I love the product but they designed these for people that are taller than 6 feet - and I am 5-9. The legs flare out too much and it kind of looks like a clown show.
