    Confine the muddy mess.

The Simms Taco Bag prevents your dripping-wet waders and muddy boots from leaving a wet, grimy mess when you're done fishing for the day. Preventing moisture and mud from seeping all over your vehicle and house, the ballistic nylon shell features a PU coating for an impervious seal. The large, circular-shaped zipper allows you to easily load and access wet gear inside. And to prevent mold and mildew build-up, upper mesh vents actively exchange air to prevent stagnation and funky build-up.

    Great purchase!

I'm disappointed that i waited this long to get a taco! The taco keeps my car clean and helps keep my muddy/wet gear from getting all over other items & dogs in the back of the car while traveling. If you enjoy the dividers in gym bags that keep wet/dirty clothes from other things, you'll love this.

      Genius in Simplicity

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is such a functional bag. It is perfect for what it is designed for. Its simplicity is its greatest strength. Having a mat to stand on while you put on and take off your waders is really handy. Being able to scoop up all your wet and potentially muddy stuff into the bag and keep it contained is also so handy. I would recommend this to anyone.

      An Essential

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've owned a Simms Taco bag for a long time now and I can't imagine going fishing without it. It's such a simple yet effective piece of gear! Travel with your waders and boots in it, stand on it while taking your waders and boots back off after the day, and then travel back home with everything back in it. Doesn't get any easier than that, and your gear does dry quite nicely in it due to the mesh netting Simms built into the top of this Taco bag.

Tired of losing your stink musty waders?

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This solve all those problems, keeping your gear organized and allowing them to drain and dry while in storage. Such a practical product.

      Love the taco

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this every time I go fishing. I am not the most coordinated person around so having the larger circle to stand on when putting on and taking off my waders is great. It prevents me from accidentally stepping in mud/snow/cow poop in my socks. Everything then zips up easily to keep my waders protected for the drive home.

      Pretty Sweet

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is one of those pieces of gear you don't realize you need 'til you have it. It's basically a heavy duty hobo bag. Depending on your lifestyle you can 1:Chuck your nice waders and neoprene what-have-yous in the bed of your truck without worrying that the myriad of rogue stuff that lives back there will puncture or damage your gear OR 2:The trunk of your car will stay dry (and clean) so you don't have to worry about river water getting funky in the floor mats. And, as always, I am all about that lifetime warranty.

      Must have

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Simms Taco bag really does two things... First and foremost it transports your waders and boots from house to river no problem. When you stuff everything back in there, the ventilation allows your gear to dry without getting the back of your car soggy. You can also use the Taco Bag to stand on while you take your waders off. Avoid nasty accidents with your neoprene booties and rocks and goat heads.

      You need this.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Whether you have waders from Simms or another brand, you need this bag. I'm not one to obsess over gear or get stoked about it but I did about this purchase. It's perfect for keeping your gear all in one place and safe from tearing when you throw it in the truck bed. Not only is it great for transporting your gear, its the perfect platform for putting your gear on and taking it off. Besides the necessities for fly fishing (waders, boots, rod, and flies) this is a must have.

      Taco-licious!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Other than the fact that it keeps wet items contained, my favorite thing about this bag is to use it as a platform to take my waders/boots on/off. A lot of times when you are suiting up for a day of fishing, you have to stand on rocks/gravel/dirt/mud/etc. and over time this can wear down the neoprene on the booties...I use it to stand on, take my fishing boots off, take waders off, and then put on my dry shoes/flippy floppies. Then, BOOM! just zip up the boots and waders in the bag and you have those all rolled up like a taco. Great bag!!

      Keeps Everything Clean

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Simms Taco Bag is amazing! I got tired of the back of my vehicle getting dirty with rocks, muddy, and the run off water from throwing stuff in the back for the quick drive home. Even with an all weather, big hard rubber tray/mat in the back, it was still a pain to clean. Enter the Simms Taco Bag... now I have something to stand on while taking my waders off, that makes it easy to keep the booties clean. Once I take my boots and waders off, everything zips up in the bag with plenty of room to spare. I can fit my size L waders, and size 12 boots in here with plenty of room to spare. It is definitely worth the investment!

      Its great

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this for my brother and it makes me jealous every time I see it. It is super functional and keeps your gear super organized and limits the mess that your wet and dirty gear can make.

Keeps one organized and gear clean

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This bag has a specific design and works fantastically for what is was designed for -keeping waders and boots dry and away from other gear. It's so nice to have somewhere to step onto to take your boots off and the stow them away in the same bag. The mesh is a fantastic feature to help facilitate drying of the gear.

      Must have in your trunk

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you don't have a truck, or rubber floors, this is a must have. I have a carpeted trunk and this helps to keep the mud contained. It's big enough to put a couple pairs of waders/boots in, and works great as a changing mat. On a side note, it makes a great gift for the fly fisherman who has it all. I bought several of these as gifts and they were all well received.

No Fly Fisherman should be without

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Taco Bag from Simms is... dare I say genius? Yes, I do. It is really a game changer while you're out at the river. No more are you fighting for space on the tailgate to sit down to take your waders off and make sure you don't get your booties gummed up with mud and rocks and whatnot. The Taco Bag makes changing in and out of waders a breeze, not to mention transportation. Throw your waders, boots, and whatever other clothing you are taking with you in here and you're good to go. I can fit my waders (xl), boots (size 11), my socks, and a jacket in here with some room to spare if it's going to be a cold day and I need to bring some extra layers. If you make it out to the river on a regular basis, there is no reason not to pick one of these up.

      Simple and extremely effective

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is all you need. Holds 1 pair of waders and boots (definitely not room for two). Easily to carry and stow and when you get to the river, unzip and get dressed right on the pad. No need to balance on one foot to keep your waders off the gravel. Great way to keep your wading gear lasting longer.

      Awesome bag

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased a nicer pair of waders this summer and felt horrible just throwing them in the back of the truck. I came across this bag and you can't beat the price to help protect an expensive pair of waders. Throwing it down while changing makes it easier to change without falling over. The mesh panels help to get air flowing through the bag and it protects your waders from extra wear and tear. Definitely a no-brainer to shell out for a $40 bag to protect $300 waders.

      Stow Waders and Boots

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is an essential item for storing your waders and boots. You can obviously use it to stand on while you put on your waders and boots, but the real value is that you can use it to separate dirty, muddy, wet, waders and boots from the rest of your gear especially if you travel by plane to fish and you need to toss your gear into a bag to separate it from clean clothes.

If you are too lazy or forget to clean and dry out your waders, the taco bag also has fine mesh to allow your setup to dry but still keep most of the dirt on the inside.

This is a must have for any fly fisherman but especially for the traveling fly fisherman.

      Upgraded Wader Bag

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I upgraded from my previous bag to this one. It is near perfect. Works great as a foot mat when your changing in the parking lot or roadside, vents well to keep your gear clean and dry, and holds a pair of waders and boots very well. I used to for a bit with two pairs of boots and waders and they fit, but just barely.

      Must have for waders

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It is exactly like they describe it. A simple item yet something you will love and never leave home with out when you go wading. Makes it easier to carry your gear to and from your vehicle and when changing out in a parking lot or gravel gives you a place to stand so you won't have to worry about tearing up the feet of your waders. It says you can fit two pairs... The only way I see that is if you completely stuff it in so I wouldn't try.
