Why We Like The G3 Guide Stockingfoot Wader
If you spend more of your waking moments submerged mid-thigh in a river casting out to sipping fish like we do, then invest in the G3 Guide Stockingfoots Wader. Simms' exclusive 5-layer Gore-Tex Pro fabric is found in the seat, waist, and throughout the leg for rugged durability and absolute protection, and there's 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro in the upper part for greater comfort and breathability. The G3 Guide is designed to easily convert to a waist-high wader for versatility in any fishing environment while articulated knees ensure maximum comfort and mobility as you reel in your catch.

So ??????
Could not be more disappointed. It was not easy to afford these waders. But I told myself that they would last and the price would be worth it. After less than 10 trips out, mostly in a raft for that matter. My waders leaked all over me on a February day resulting in a ruined trip. Simms used to stand for quality. What happened?

Love your waders and they will love you
The G3's continue to get better and better. Super durable and comfortable too. Also, the performance of your waders, particularly the seams, are dependent on after care. ALWAYS hang dry, inside and out, away from UV exposure and these will last even the most rugged conditions.

Okay but doesn't fit as well as previous pairs
This is my 4th pair of small king G3 waders. The sizing has changed and they no longer fit as well. I'm unable to cinch the suspenders up enough to keep the crotch from hanging so low that it doesn't feel "short crotched." The suspenders can't be shortened enough because of the pad that slides along the suspenders.

Air tight
I’ve owned three pair of G3’s over the course of the last 16 years. They are great waders. One thing I noticed on my new ones is they seem to trap air in them very bad until I step into the water. Making wearing them in truck on the way to river impossible.

The best wader I have ever worn
The fit and durability of the G3 are hands down the best I have owned. They are breathable and perfect for spending long days on the water no matter the conditions

Ughhh, I am torn
I am torn... This is my 3rd pair of waders in the last 3 years and the 3rd pair that leaks. That being said Simms is still certainly the best Ive had compared to some other names. The rock guards are thin soft and had holes in the 1st 10 days, my backup waders (Classic Simms waders), which are $300 cheaper have much more thick and robust rock guards, what the heck!!! I must admitt, I have bad luck and whatever I choose off the rack is usually the defective one, so maybe Ive just had the bad batch each time. I will say these are warm for cold days (50 deg Alaska summer) compared to the Classics, and other than the wimpy cheap rock guards and defective stocking feet, would be great. Simms needs to put the cheaper Classic rock guards on these much more expensive waders, why skimp... Again, rock guards ABSOLUTELY terrible!

I recently used my new waders for the first time on my annual Dolly Varden trip out of Sitka Alaska. The waders were comfortable, performed great as advertised. My only complaint would be that the sizing seem to run a little large, or maybe I just ordered the wrong size for my body size.

Riparian Stockingfoot Wader
Great waders as I have more than one pair of the Riparian Camo Stockingfoot. The fit and style are spot on and they are comfortable. Thanks Simms for producing these waders.

Great Waders
These are really nice waders! When my G4 Pros finally gave up I wanted something very close in terms of quality, fit and function. These are really nice, and I've been very happy with the performance so far.
