Why We Like The G3 Guide Jacket
Whether or not you spend upwards of 300 days a year on the water, you want gear that won't let you down when you do get to spend some quality time on the river. With its three-layer GORE-TEX shell, the Simms G3 Guide jacket handles everything from drizzly days on the Olympic Peninsula to storm days in the Rockies. A burly 70-denier face fabric resists the wear and tear only a river can dish out, while its fully adjustable hood lets you hunker down when the rains fall on a slant. We appreciate how the water-resistant Dry Cuffs seal out water when you release your catch, and the myriad pockets along the front of the jacket give you a place to keep a couple of fly boxes close at hand.

Great jacket if you are a serious fisherman
Warm and very comfortable. I fish all day and this is by far the best jacket to use!

Haven't had a chance to use it as it's winter up here but the fit is roomy in an XL which will allow for layers underneath.

Great outdoor features. Yet, I was very surprised when I noticed there is no net clip on the back. A must have in my opinion. It's the first time I experienced something like this with a fishing jacket.

Awesome gear addition!
I wore this jacket on a salt water trip in chilly weather and it was amazing as a top layer wind break. Very well made. Great features. Happy I made the investment.

This is the best jacket I have ever bought. Heavy duty build construction but yet very light. Not only do I wear it with my waders fishing, but also wear it in town and every day use.

True to size fit, IMO simms tends to run big. 1st rainy/windy day of fishing performed well.
