Hip Pack
The hip pack works really well. It is very comfortable and allows me to carry enough to stay on the water for hours. I would highly recommend it as a alternative to a vest .

Great hip pack!
Great pack for the 1/2 day trips when you need to pack an extra layer but want to take it off or put it on. Like the drink holster and shoulder strap to keep it from dunking on the deeper wades. SIMMS quality through and through!

The zippers and buckles are thoughtfully designed and operate smoothly, ensuring quick and effortless opening and closing. The pack's reinforced stitching and sturdy zippers guarantee long-lasting performance. Additionally, the pack's strategic pocket placement allows for intuitive organization, enabling me to find and retrieve items with ease, eliminating unnecessary fumbling or wasted time. Freestone Hip Pack
Wade fishing in Florida I needed a new hip pack that met all my needs. The Freestone does it. Room for my fishing gear, tools, and personal stuff. The water bottle shelve and rain jacket roll on the bottom are perfect. The shoulder strap provides stability without getting in the way. The zippers work and the overall quality is very good.

Great Pack
I really like this pack and use it often for carrying lures and plastics. It holds up in deep tidepools and rough ocean conditions. I used to use a backpack and I am so glad I upgraded to the hip pack.

Good but not perfect
This pack has lots of room for everything you need for wading the river. I like almost everything about it. However, the tippet holder and the floatant holder are worthless. Neat ideas, but you can't trust them to stay attached when walking through brush. I lost 4 tippet spools and the attachment today. Also, the floatant slides right through the attachment. Everything else is great, but these need to be redesigned.
