Good choice
Best boots I’ve ever waded in. And I’ve been through several. Highly recommend with the studs

Simms Freestone Wading Boots
I’ve only worn the boots once so far. It was very cold in Wyoming where I was fishing and there were still snow drifts around the lake. So, I put on a medium pair of socks and a heavy pair of socks over them in my brand new Simms waders and that made the boots a little short. My toes weren’t touching the end of the boot inside yet, but they were close enough to the end of the boot that it made the boots uncomfortable. I think I need to try fishing in the boots with just a light pair of socks in the neoprene foot of my new waders to see if that solves the problem. Since the waders are also brand new, the neoprene hasn’t yet compressed and formed to my foot, so that might be part of my problem with the boots too. Time will tell. I hope I have the right size boot, but I’m not sure yet.

Excellent river boots
I Purchased the freestone wading boots with felt after purchasing the Tributary rubber sole wading boots that were too slippery over river rocks. The Freestone wading boots with felt are amazing when fishing in rocky rivers .best boot I've ever used in very slippery conditions.I feel safe with these felt wading boots

Awesome boot!
Great boots! The felt is sticky, and I have been wearing the synthetic book for a couple decades now. No stretch or shrink like leather, but plenty durable.

Freestone wading boots
Great boots! I’ve had the same boots in the past and am very happy with the quality. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to save a little money, as compared to a more expensive pair.

Well done , right out of the box
Nice shoe felt great right out of the box. A great purchase is when the item purchased seems like it's been around a while, most especially shoes. Walked up a creek all day and 1.5 miles back on forest service roads. No issues . Well done.

Hood boots for the money I’ve had one pair that did come apart in 3 years, these will be my cold water boots , I got them way oversized so I could wear thick socks.

Great boots, wish they ran wider.
Great boots but wish they ran a little wider. I wear a size 9 Wide in dress shoes and a 10 in running shoes. I bought a 10. They are plenty long enough but my right foot pinches across the width of the ball of my foot enough that my toes would fall asleep when they were new out of the box. Before fishing, I wore them around the house for a few days with my neoprene wader socks to break them in, which helped some. Two days fishing in them broke them in further. Just wish I didn't have to go through the uncomfortable break-in period, and an 11 would almost certainly have been too big.
