Why We Like The Flyweight Access Boot

The reason the Flyweight Access Boot rises so high on our list of favorites is because of its super light design that comes with plenty of protection. While resisting the entry of water, dirt, and grime, the Flyweight keeps the air flowing in to ensure our precious feet don't end up like the swamp surrounding us.

Lightest ever!

Very light and comfortable boots that lasted only a month.

Lightweight, comfortable, and grippy!

This boot is lightweight, comfortable, and grips the river bottom better than any other sole material they sell without studs. Even better than felt! It is extremely lightweight too.

These are great boots. I had to send the 13s back and replace them with 14s. 13s were too snug on my feet. I would give the boots a 5 star rating except that they slipped badly on rocks where we were fishing in NZ. Wish the Simms folks had pushed their cleats more before I purchased. As is, I fell in the river twice, got soaked both times, ruined my cell phone, but lord did we catch fish. If you are going to NZ, get the cleats and put them on your boots, save getting wet.

Great wadding boots

The best wadding boot I’ve owned including felt. Colorado , Roaring Fork and Frying Pan are my home waters all three are slick rivers to wade these boots are outstanding. Thanks folks well done!

Outstanding boots!

These boots are phenomenal! They are incredibly light, extremely comfortable, and the soles are remarkably effective on wet slippery rocks. I bought them primarily as a travel boot, but I have used them a bunch this winter in Montana and have really enjoyed the easy mobility they provide and the hold they allow on river bottoms. They have become my go-to boot, displacing a bunch of far burlier boots. Give them a try ...

Good thing on this boots is that they are very comfortable and light. But the grip is just horrible. Other then on dry rocks they are just slippery as hell. Did add studs and grip was a little better but because of the soft Vibram they don‘t stay in the boots very long. Very disappointed as they were not cheap. Won‘t use this boots again.

great boots so far

Super light and comfortable, both with lot of layers in cold weather and with just thin layers on under them in warmer weather these boots rock, we'll see how they hold up in the coarse sandstone of the Adirondacks this summer.

So far so good. They are very light and comfortable with plenty of room for the stocking foot of the waders. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe and the size 12’s fit perfect w breathable waders stocking foot in it.
