Giving you a balance of all-season waterproofing and high loft warmth for fishing straight on into the cold season, the Simms Bulkley Jacket is a guide-approved jacket to help you thrive in cold weather. It's got a durable ripstop face with a 2-layer Gore-Tex membrane to keep out any water from unexpected rain and frigid splashes, and Primaloft Silver insulation to keep you warm as you wait and wade in cold water. Primaloft also stays warm when it gets wet, giving you added reassurance against the unexpected.
The jacket's hem features Gore-Tex fabric inside and out to help keep you dry when you start to wade deep, while the watertight Shingle Cuff sleeve design prevents water from sneaking up and ruining your day when you reach into the water. To warm up those cold hands you've got micro-fleece lined handwarmer pockets, as well as two large chest pockets to hold fly boxes and other essential gear. Finally, you've got an adjustable Storm Hood to keep you fishing when unexpected storms roll through.

Very light and warm
very warm and waterproof with neoprene cuffs. Biggest surprise is how lightweight it is. I just wish it had two more big exterior pockets for gear in lieu of a vest.

A jacket to own for Winter???s worst weather!
I live in the high Rockies in Colorado and I fish the Arkansas all winter. The wind howls and the snow flies. This jacket makes those conditions acceptable???I don???t hesitate to go in cold and nasty weather. I continue to be amazed at how great this jacket is. It is so well designed right down to the last detail. The inner sleeve keeps the 35 degree water out and the hood seals the warmth in. It is a must have jacket for anyone who wants to fly fish when Mother Nature is at her worst!

Great jacket overall
Great fit. Generally I am a bit cold most of the time. The jacket kept me warm without being bulky. It is now my go to jacket for winter steelhead in the Northeast.

Super warm
Great jacket for winter fishing. It’s super warm. The pockets are great. If i was too nitpick a negative it would be that it would be nice to have pit zips to vent some heat just cause this jacket is that warm.
