Wet and warm nights no longer spell disaster.
Soggy evenings, high humidity and rapidly changing temperatures, once the sworn enemy of down-filled sleeping bags, are no longer cause for concern, thanks to the Sierra Designs Zissou Plus 700 Down Sleeping Bag. The light, lofty, and warm DriDown insulation is coated with a hydrophobic finish, allowing the insulation to stay 10 times drier and twice as lofty as untreated down in wet and humid conditions, so a little moisture won't spell disaster. It's also sealed inside tough but soft polyester ripstop fabric, and held in place with sidewall baffles to prevent the down from migrating and leaving you suffering from cold spots. Better yet, the Zissou returns Sierra Designs' integrated quilt design, which features dual zippers that allow you to fold down the top of the bag for a bed-like feel when the temperatures aren't quite as chilly as you anticipated.

- Q & A
The down in my bag was tested at 920 fill. Maybe they're using the most flattering test methods available, but I think it's safe to say that it's well above 700 by any measure. Every lot varies so who knows what will turn up in your bag. The water repellent down adds a bit of fill power of course, but that's actually a good thing.
This bag is roomy. It includes a mesh storage bag.
The material on the inside feels decent. It isn't the silkiest feeling bag I own, but it's nothing disappointing.
I haven't had this thing in the field yet, but I will update my review in a couple of weeks after a December hike.
Oh yeah, did I mention the 920 fill?
