    Heavier, But Highly Liveable

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am on a trail crew in Nevada and spend most of my time living out of my tent.
I upgraded from an old Kelty tent that I used daily for a trail season in Montana.
I have had the tent for less that a week and so far I love it, overall.
It was exceptionally easy to set up solo. The only problem I encountered was trying to figure out how to attach the rain fly and footprint to the body of the tent, I am used to clips on my old tent.
The space in the tent, the head clearance, and the vestibule area are amazing. I love that I don’t hit my head of the wall of the tent anymore when I sit up, and that I have two door and two vestibules.
Within the week I have had it, it has been fairly windy and it has held up wonderfully. It has not budged an inch and the structural integrity has stayed intact.
It packs down intuitively and quite compactly. While not being exceptionally light for a backpacking tent, does provide a comfier tent life than other smaller tents.
