    Push forward.

With its reputation for race-proven performance and long-lasting quality, Sidi is the go-to shoe brand for many cyclists. Step up to the line of any race and you'll see the classic Sidi logo well-represented in the group. The Sidi Women's Wire Push continues this tradition and stands out as one of the best women's shoes on the market with classic Sidi aesthetics and a women-specific design.

Sidi designed the Wire Push with all the same technology used in the men's version, just with a fit catering to the lower volume of women's feet. The combination of a Tecno 3 Push fastener and Sidi's Heel Security System allows for an almost endless variety of adjustment for a comfy, personalized, and secure fit. Sprint, climb, or just zoom down the road with confidence that these shoes will keep your feet comfy and let you put the power to the pedals.

Wow - these are so adjustable!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I have narrow heels and an annoyed Achilles tendon down near the heel. Any rubbing on my heel tends to make the Achilles even more annoyed. Luckily, these shoes have an adjustable heel. You can tighten or loosen screws on each side of the heel for a dialed-in fit. It's so nice to finally have a pair of cycling shoes that provide this.
They are light, stiff and comfortable. The tongue has some padding that allows a secure fit across the instep, but doesn't push down too hard and is comfortable. The dials adjust in small increments, again to get the tightness just perfect. I haven't notched the tongue yet, but on my right foot, I need to maybe clip a couple of the notches so it doesn't push against my ankle.
I rode on a cool day, so I hadn't opened up the front vents at that point, but that's a nice touch too.
Now with summer, I've opened the vents, but it really doesn't make a lot of difference. I can't feel any cool breeze, but that still doesn't hurt my love of the shoes.
As for insoles or footbed, I have a little extra room, and think an insole with some arch support would be great. Currently looking for that.
As far as sizing, I wear a 41 in Specialized, and I got a 41. That tells me these are true to size, at least for my feet.
These are the best cycling shoes I've owned, by far. I highly recommend them.
I've been wearing them every ride since I got them, and I still love them.
A nice touch I didn't notice before. There's a sort of quick release to loosen them - hard to explain, but easy and designed well for your finger to loosen the shoes quickly.

This is my second pair. I was very happy at the width of these shoes and the firm sole. I felt like my old Sidis were stretched a bit in the toe area, so this was awesome to change to. The strapping mechanism is perfect for tightening or easily loosening. The ONLY reason I'm giving this a 4 is due to the tongue. The tongue digs into the front of my leg and has made it sore. I have loosened them, but over time it still makes the area sore. A longer tongue or having it not so stiff where it meets my leg would be nice. Not enough of a complaint to return, but I'm shocked it has not been reported prior to me and repaired for the price of the shoes.

I bought these shoes a while ago and love them - had the same problem with the tongue until a fellow cyclists informed me that the tongue is meant to be cut where those little slits are. Here's some detail "THE TONGUES ON SIDI SHOES COME WITH SLITS NEAR THE TOP AND WHILE SOME RIDERS MAY LIKE THEM AS THEY COME, MOST WE KNOW PREFER A LITTLE MORE FREEDOM AT THE FRONT OF THE ANKLE. SO DON'T BE AFRAID, TRIM DOWN TO THE EXISTING SLITS TO ALLOW THE TONGUE TO SPREAD COMFORTABLY OVER THE TOP OF YOUR FOOT. IF YOU'D LIKE EVEN MORE FREEDOM, YOU CAN TAKE A BIT OF LENGTH OFF TOO.
