Trace 2 Mega Cycling Shoe
The Trace 2 Mega is a trail shoe that's stiff enough to thrive on cross-country rides yet durable enough to keep up on enduro descents. A three-layer outer maintains a snug fit for a responsive feel with lots of feedback yet feels light enough to be a formidable long-distance option.

Great shoe. Over the last year I?ve been searching for a road and gravel shoe since I wore out my specialized from 2012-2014. Finally settled on the Trace 2 in the mega width. Had been leery of Sidi because they?re infamous for being narrow. I don?t consider my foot wide but these provide enough room for the toes and across the ball. First ride out of the box was a 90+ mile training ride and no complaints. I rate them as true to size, they?re the same as all my other spd shoes. Quality appears to be spot on. For background, I?m 98% road rider, 2% gravel on track to hit 8,000 miles for the year.

Great shoe but not all that wide.

These are your typical, high quality SIDI shoe. But my issue is with the width. The foot bed is not wide and my foot is actually beginning to hang over the side after a few months of riding.
