Ergo 4 Carbon Cycling Shoe
Sidi's Ergo 4 Carbon Men's Cycling Shoes are an investment, but the iconic brand hasn't earned its reputation making overpriced, overhyped shoes. With replaceable parts and thoughtful construction, Sidi shoes are made to last you seasons of hard riding. The Ergo 4 is a newer offering from the classic brand, and its carbon composite sole and incredible range of adjustability from Sidi's Tecno 3 buckle system promises to keep your feet happy and your hard-earned watts delivered on-time to the pedals with every turn of the crank arms.
Sidi shoes are known for being built with a range of small extras that make life a lot easier in the saddle. In case you don't dial-in just the right fit from Tecno 3 before you clip-in, the buckles are easy to reach for and adjust from the saddle, and while you're mashing the pedals down to reach the crest of a climb, Sidi's Adjustable Heel Retention Device will keep even the boniest heels locked firmly in-place so you don't waste power. The padded tongue keeps your instep free of frustrating pressure points, and the ventilated uppers keep air flowing freely between your toes.

First ride in my new Sidi Ergo Carbons
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- 43
- Height
- 5` 6"
- Weight
- 136 lbs
Just completed my first ride in my new Sidi Ergo Carbons. I switched from Shimano carbon sole shoes to Sidis. The Shimanos are nearly 20 years old, so it was time for a change. I found these on Competitive Cyclist at 49% off and had to try them. These are wonderful shoes!! The Boa system is easy to use and literally makes the shoe a part of my foot. It already feels as if they are broken in. All around two thumbs up, 5 stars, etc,. etc.

Great Shoes
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought
- 43.5
- Height
- 5` 8"
- Weight
- 147 lbs
Bought recommend size, 43.5, at a great price but my feet were used to a wider toe box. They felt a little cramped at first but after about 10-15 rides they loosened up a bit and now they are amazing!

- Size Bought
- 48

These are truly well built shoes stocked full of amazing technical bits. The size length seems right on and also on the typical width -- unfortunately, I have B/C feet, despite the length, so I'll return them . At the cost, I should try a more narrow type/style/brand. At to Competitive Cyclist, these guys are as professional as it gets. THANKS!

I am US 9.5. According to your chart, I should be Sidi's 43.5. Is it always true to size?

I bought a 43.5 in the Mega (also a 9.5 US) as I had worn a 43.5 in the Sidi Ergo 2. The Mega makes your feet feel extra loose in the tie box and consequently there is motion in the heel cup despite making adjustments. I suggest sizing down to a 43 in the Mega or you will experience heel pain similar to plantar fasciatis.

I've found Mavic shoes to be somewhat narrow. I have older Mavic Pro Road shoes and recently tried the new 15,16,17 offerings and found them narrower than past models. Some of this could have been broken in vs not, but if you're shooting in the dark, try there. I found my Mavic's very comfortable over the years.
