Utility Waterproof Backpack
Strapping lights haphazardly to your pack on your evening commute may have been a good temporary solution to low-light visibility, but with pack options like the Showers Pass Utility Waterproof Backpack you can take things a bit more seriously. This burly pack combines lightweight and waterproof material with welded seams to keep you gear dry, and features 4 LED Beacon lights that seamlessly integrate with grommets on the sides and back of the bag to add high visibility at night. The Beacon lights last for about 200 hours, are easy to remove, and use CR2032 batteries for easy replacing.
Inside, the pack is equipped with a fleece-lined sleeve to keep your laptop secure, designed to keep your laptop off of the ground in the event that you drop your pack. A separate compartment allows you to add hydration to the pack, complete with a hanging clip so you can easily access water on the go. Ample pockets host a slew of space for phones, water bottles, valuables, and gadgets, so you can keep things organized on your ride. Outside you'll find additional webbing for smaller accessories, or your U-Lock. The ergonomic waistband can be removed and used as a hip-pack when you want to take along just the essentials.

I was looking for a new pack for commuting, but sometimes Utah's weather can be a bit unpredictable. I knew I needed something that was comfortable, entirely weather proof, and large enough to hold all of my work clothes as well as my laptop for the day. I didn't expect to find a pack that hit all of these on the head, but I'm happy to say that I was incredibly wrong.
My favorite part of the bag hands down is the welded zippers. They swung for the fences with this feature. It's ENTIRELY water proof, and in the rain and snow storms I've been caught in, I've never once needed to worry about my laptop. Which is great considering it's a work laptop. It's got a full run of 3M reflective piping surrounding multiple parts of the bag to help with visibility, and if that wasn't enough, the bag sports 4 Red LED lights that can be controlled by a quick press to ensure motorists can see you. The sternum strap is very comfortable, or can be removed entirely as some may not be a fan of the strap itself. So you're not married to the design if it just doesn't fit your comforts wheelhouse.
This pack can be sued for commuting, or just an everyday reliable bag. It's great for commuting in the summer or winter, and has a wide variety and no shortage of space. If you're looking for that go everywhere- do everything bag, you've found it!
